2010 NBA Playoff Thread Part 2: The Return

Think Sasha Vujacic can fly to South Africa tonight to help the Slovenia soccer team v. the US tomorrow?

It’s that time again for the haters to hate on the most successful basketballer of his generation and a terrific team that has now gone back to back.

Have a bit of humility and give some credit.

Boston gave a real tough series and it was a tremendous win.

BTW: Kobe has 2 fucked fingers on his shooting hand that require surgery…guess we can let him have one bad game out of about 20 30 point games in the post-season eh?

well done!!! great finals!! heartbroken!! but enjoyed it alot with my friend. Celtics had the game.It was very close… I feel very bad for the celtics…everyone was crying… wow!! It really sucks to be at the losing end after investing so much energy in a team but thats sports for ya.

OK rad, you win… congrats… fucking bitch!! i hate you!! lol

what avatar do i wear?

Artest and Rondo shooting back to back threes. Then Sasha Vujacic putting the game on ice.

What a weird way to end a very weird Finals. Celtics lost!!!1

While it was certainly an ‘ugly’ game, those last 6-7 minutes(like, from the Fisher 3 that tied it at 64) might be the most intense back and forth leave it on the floor basketball I’ve seen played(this is almost certainly a live in the moment comment, but damn it was fucking exciting).

Wasn’t sure I heard it correct the first time. Had to rewind. wtf? Funny ass shit right there. What a nut-job. Before yesterday I figured he would have nothing to contribute positively to this series let alone game seven but had all the potential to really screw things up. Was pleasantly surprised. Still a nut-job though.

I am so glad the Lakers toughed it out. Lakers front office looks genius (again) for getting Artest.

2-peat rocks. Would be perfect if it wasn’t for post-game stupid fans and gang bangers.

Other than the birth of my son, that was the most amazing experience of my life and to think a few of you said don’t go, what if they lose. ;0

I have never been in an event with the crowd that crazy the whole game. Our section went nuts! You know who the real MVP of this game was? The Staples Center crowd. That was a surreal experience. I feel so emotionally exhausted and exhilarated at the same time.

I woke up this morning like a little kid on Christmas morning. I literally have felt like a little kid again since last night. I wouldn’t have traded this experience for anything in the world.

When the Lakers won it at the very end perfect strangers were hugging each other (and me), we were talking about coming back to the same section next year, this guy from Australia who has followed the Lakers for 20 years happen to held over at LAX and came to his first game ever (a game 7 finals no less) and was seated next to us, unbelievable.
