Big pile, and NU’s Ben Cotton getting his jewels fondled by a A&M defense player, no foul on A&M but the refs throw a flag on Cotton when he kicks the guy away.
^ it is all about national security (per the new TSA regulations).
LOL.

I wonder if the A&M teammates give him grief for that play.

Despite an ugly incident on a pile after a fumble recovery by Nebraska’s Ben Cotton, Texas A&M defensive lineman Tony Jerod-Eddie will play against Texas on Thursday, Aggies coach Mike Sherman said on Monday.

Immediately after Texas A&M’s 9-6 win over Nebraska, video circulated of Jerod-Eddie engaging in what Sherman called “extracurricular activity” in the pile, and Cotton was flagged for a personal foul and unsportsmanlike conduct on the play.

“I don’t have time to look at YouTubes and what not, but I heard something about it, I asked the player about it, and he said there was some extracurricular activity on the pile, and I said ‘That’s not what we’re about, that’s not what we coached you to do,’ and he agreed,” Sherman said. “He’s really remorseful about it, and I said I don’t want to see it again. The results and the consequences of that are between me and that player. It’s been addressed.”

“extracurricular activity”??? Dude, you were fondling some guy junk, lol.
Was there a happy ending?
Only for A&M. :frowning:

Thursday night, I will be rooting for Texas to beat A&M. :)
I knew you were a smart guy. Honestly because of you and Eic I have been routing for Nebraska, well that and I love defensive football with a running game.
To be honest, I really think Texas can win this game, Texas has good players on defense and they are able to keep A&M out of the end zone as Nebraska did. The only thing will be if Texas offense can score enough points to win it.

^ That has been the problem all year, I hate not having a running game. This has bugged me since Colt’s Junior year. Dont know if it is the RB’s or O line’s fault.

I think its mostly the O line, but I really need to watch some past games to see what is really going on.

Game should be a good one tonight, I am hoping its close and Texas walks away with the win.

I only hope I get home in time to watch the game.

You mean tomorrow night. They play Thanksgiving night this year.

Thanks, for some reason I was thinking it was tonight, my screwup, lol. I think my lighted vagina messed with my head for a while there.

What’s your thought about Texas may not going to a bowl game this year?

There are not going, but it is what it is. I dont want Mack replaced, he in my opinion is a really stand up man who takes care of his players. A true measure of a man is when he overcomes adversity and I will hold on to see what Mack does over the next few years.

He is a good coach and good guy, I just wonder if he will be making changes to his coaching staff this year. It was one bad year, so I find it hard for him to make any changes, but who knows.

I think it will be good if there is not one dominant team in Texas for a couple of years. I think it will help recruiting in keeping Texas players in Texas (i.e., either UT or out of state mentality) and improve programs as competition increases - less well, ‘you need to beat at least one of these four teams’ mentality. I think the Big 12 South has a chance of being strong across the board here soon. That should help with the conference realignment that is coming.

As far as not having a running game, I think the all pass all the time offenses are getting challenged more and more. One reason I am not a huge fan of Oregon or Auburn is they strike me offensively as too one dimensional/quarterback focused. Same issue with other programs as well.

Go Ags!

I’ll be cheerin for UT over the Ags. Lookin forward to Bama v. Auburn. Hope to stay awake while the Frogs play UNM. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I think for the Big 12 south the move to more conventional offense will be growing. Ag Texas is big, look how many players on Ok and Ok state are from Texas, no way to keep them all here.

Until teams can shut down Oregon and Auburn it is what it is, I have been saying for years that I hope the Big 12 moves more torwards the SEC type of games.

What happen with J. Johnson and why did they go back to Tannehill (spl)? Sherman is a good coach and I really expected them this year to come back into the top 25 on a consistent basis. Are they going to give him a few more years?

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

DJHT,
I became a BAMA fan at a very young age. In the 70s they were winning National Championships while TCU was winning 2 games a year. Dad’s side of family was from Alabama. 2 of the kids went to Bama, while Dad and other Aunt went to University of Dallas where Dad met mom. All total have like 5 Bama grads and 1 current Bama student in my family.

Keep more. not all. Of course that might hurt out of sate programs. Pity.

Got shoulder scoped and it is not the same + some poor decision making in early games
Our athletic director just on ESPN radio stating that he’d like to get a game scheduled with Ohio State. I wonder when that will happen.

Just wanted to give a shout out for the Fighting Texas Aggies!
I’m hoping their momentum will carry them against texas tonight.
They’ll need all the momentum they can maintain since they won’t have that awesome Kyle Field home advantage. GO A&M!

The lineup of games tomorrow is fantastic, and should provide a great follow up to todays Thanksgiving feasts.

Who thinks 'Bama can take it??

Well at least Texas kept it close. Go Auburn.

If you are not watching this Ala v. Aub game you are missing out. This is a hell of a game.
