I do not care who wins. I do not have cable and ESPN took the bowls away from me.

Yes, I did see A&M on Fox.

And yes, LSU is going to have a good secondary for years to come.
Why cant you watch it online?
I could but the computer is right next to the kids room and she wakes up easily for a couple of hours after we put her to bed. That, and the desk chair is not comfortable after a couple of hours. That, and I plan on going to sleep after watching NCIS. That, and I do not care who wins.
LOL, I understand. When it gets down to the final games of College and NFL I will watch them all. Because I know I will not get live football for another 7 months.

Question do you think the month off hurts Oregon or Auburn? See I think it hurts Oregon because of the offense they run. This might be the only reason I can see Auburn winning. Or if Cam Newton gained 30 lbs and is slow as fuck.
I think the time off definitely hurts Oregon. Their offense is such a timing thing that a month off of actual game speed will make them rusty.

I think it really helps Auburn (especially their D) because of the crazy pace that Oregon runs. I saw an interview with Auburns stud DT and he said this month off has helped a lot because their strength and conditioning coach has been working them like dogs. He said he’s in the best condition of his life now thanks to the month off. I think that’s why I helps Auburn more than Oregon.

I mean the same things apply for both schools but oregona offense is a little more timing and pace oriented than Auburn although the time off does help the Ducks D scheme for how to stop Newton.
Oregon is going to have trouble with Nick Fairly. 315lbs and he moves fast and hits hard.

I think that Oregon is going to option off of him quite a bit rather than the DE. Thats what they did with USC and Jurrell Casey (6’1" 305) who is projected to be the number 2 DT behind Fairly.

I dont know how well it will work but I’m sure they’ll try it quite a bit to slow him down and make him think about things. But like I said in his interview Fairly said the month off has helped his conditioning tremendously. I think thats why the time off is more of a plus for Auburn than it is for Oregon

Agreed on the time off

I just hope there is not a repeat of last year where the star player gets hurt. Want a great competitive game and best team win. Which I think I want Oregon to win, just to shut up the talking heads about how great the SEC is.

hahaha I agree 100%

I cant believe Mark May is picking Oregon. That is insane! He usually cant even get out an analysis because he has so much SEC cock in his mouth… I cant believe it

Found this interesting.

Old Bowl System More Likely Than Playoff, Says BCS Executive Director Bill Hancock

Perhaps the best part is at the end.

“Last month at a college athletics forum in New York, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany said supporters of the BCS were fatigued with defending the system from constant legal and political pressures. Hancock said it has not been easy to fend off all the attacks from playoff supporters. “I think we all get a little tired of the invective,” he said.”

I cannot tell if that means they acknowledge the system sucks…

WEAR THE FUCKERS DOWN. Our plan is working, now that Mark I have more money than God Cuban is on the case, it will happen in the next 5 years.

Reverse Psychology.

I heard an interesting thing that he said that made sense to me.

he said that this year seems like 05 when all everyone was talking about was USC and Heisman winner Reggie Bush… No one talked about Texas or thought they could win. SC had all the hype all year long and was the storybook program only to be upset in the NC game (I still remember sitting on the couch in shock when that game ended)

I hope Oregon smashes on Auburn. I hope Mathews gets a blindside shot on Newton and hits him so hard that some of that $180K he got paid to play their comes spilling out from under his shoulder pads

^ I said this in College Football 2010 1.0 thread, that this year felt like 05. I also remember jumping up yelling off my couch during that game. Three of my kids were up with me watching that game, probably one of the highest parent kid moments for me in my life.

I predict the game is over 100 points combined tonight.

^Defense sucks

The over/under is in the 70s, last I heard, which is crazy for a game of this magnitude.

I guess I’ll throw in a prediction too. Like Dixie said, I like Auburn in this game. They have been in the tougher games, with their backs against the wall. They have that team of destiny feel about them. For me, it was the come back win over Bama that decided it all. That was the game that told me they would win it all. Much like my Sooners come back win over aTm in 2000, or like Bama’s nail biter against Tennessee, last year.

I also think the match up favors Auburn. They can slow the game down and be a ball controlled offense, which restricts the amount of possessions Oregon will have.

Of course, if Oregon’s offense gets going, then who knows what might happen, but I do think the layoff, if it affects (or is it effects? I started drinking early, so sue me) anyone, it will be Oregon.

Lastly, Auburn has Cam Newton, who has shown he can put his team on his shoulders and carry them to wins. He’s a bit like Vince Young in that respect. I wouldn’t want to be the Oregon defense, late in the game, in a situation where they had to make a stop against the Cam Newton lead offense.

I see the score being something like 31-21 or a 31-24, Auburn.

p.s. If this post comes off as me rambling, too fucking bad. I started shooting Jim Beam Black about an hour ago, because it is snowing outside, and this is last fucking college game of the year.

Damn it. NCIS is on tomorrow. I guess I will kinda watch for an hour tonight.

Noone saw me. They can’t prove anything!

Damn already an injury.

Spike lol.

Already looking like its gonna be a close game. Good. Makes it more enjoyable.

Yea Dixie defense came to play.
