Lacking the recievers he has this year, Brunell took us to the second round of the playoffs last year. He can get the job done. Furthermore, keep in mind that the last time Joe Gibbs won a super bowl, he lost every single pre-season game. You’re gonna tell me that Randle-El and Lloyd aren’t going to be able to step up? Of course they are.
They already have at their previous teams. Last skins winning super bowl team had 3 all pro recievers. Art Monk, Gary Clark and Ricky Sanders. Coached by Joe Gibbs. With a weak quarterback, Mark Rypken. Well check this out, now we have Lloyd, Randle El, and Moss. Coached by Joe Gibbs, with a weak quarterback Mark Brunell. Doesn’t this seem awfully similar?

You make some very valid points. We shall see how the season plays out.
We will see about that. The washed up QB did his job last year. He will do it again.
Plus, I sincerely hope you aren’t rooting for one of the Manning choke brothers. Payton is the best quarterback in the NFL. Until the playoffs. Soon as the playoffs begin, Payton Manning may as well be Trent Dilfer.
Don’t even get me started on his brother. His brother is nowhere near the QB that he is.

Mark Brunell is washed up, and the backup cant read defenses yet. Youll be watching us play from the living room…Enjoy[/quote]

Atleast Dilfer won a Super Bowl ring! I don’t understand all the hate for Trent Dilfer. The guy has done nothing but win in his career and he keeps getting sh*t on by everyone!
Granted, he’s not an outstanding QB but he does produce.
