Here is a thought…ouch!
Ronnie is not sharing and even though Pitts run D is not as tough as Chitowns I would go with him over a RBBC.

I would play Jacobs as well. I actually am playing both Tiki and Jacobs in one of my leagues bc Westbrook is on bye and BJ has a better chance of accidentally falling into the end zone than Jamal who is my other option.

Alright guys, I could use your help with my RB situation this week.

Ronnie Brown at CHI
Mike Bell/Tatum Bell at PIT
Brandon Jacobs vs HOU

I need to start two. Any thoughts?

Well, first off what is your format? Are you in more of a TD league or PPR league?

I’ve got Ronnie Brown also. I don’t think he’s a good start against the Bears but you really don’t have a choice. Hopefully during their bye week they figured out that they need to run him more and stop letting Harrington throw the ball 60 times a game.

You need to go Mike Bell until Tatum can get his turf toe problems under control.

Brandon Jacobs is an ok play if you are in a TD league because he gets the goal line carries. However, he doesn’t get a lot of touches or yards so you gotta consider that.

I think you have to go with R. Brown and M. Bell. There is no guarantee that Jacobs will even touch the ball very often. Atleast R. Brown is part of the passing game too.

So, go with Mike Bell and Ronnie Brown.

Now who do I start this weekend?
Chestor Taylor vs. 49ers - obviously
Rudi Johnson vs. Ravens - um, not likely
R. Brown vs. Bears - don’t want to
L. Maroney vs. Colts - they have a weak run defense

My first thoughts are Taylor and Maroney because both teams have weak run Ds. But Maroney is still splitting carries with Dillon while Brown is the feature back in Miami. So, I should start Taylor and Brown right? And leave Rudi on the bench? Or do I go with Rudi and Ronnie? Shiat, I don’t know.

The only way you lose is if you play against LJ and LT has a subpar game.

Alright, just pulled off another trade but this one is in my Yahoo league. Maurice Jones-Drew for Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson.

So my WRs are, Holt, Boldin, D. Jackson and C. Johnson. Unfukinreal.

I think I have a stacked team and should repeat as champ.

Bulger, Grossman
Holt, Boldin, D. Jackson, Ocho Cinco
LT, Parker, C. Taylor, M. Bell, Lundy
R. McMichael, Desmond Clark
Saints K
Balt. Defense

Yeah, i’m stacked.[/quote]

Maroney no doubt

Seriously.

Oh yeah. Our league is prob about 60-40 weighted towards TDs. Yardage pts begin to add up only when you reach the 300 pass yds, 100 rush/rec yds bonuses. No PPR.

Looks like Ronnie should be starting for sure.

Weak is understating that IND rush def. Maroney looks like a great start.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I was thinking.

Yeah, I guess it should be Maroney.

Vick against Detroit or Eli against Houston? I also have Dunn going in the same league.

Well, Detroit is allowing 237 yards a game passing and Houstin is allowing 224 yards a game. Both teams are clicking offensively right now. I think you’ll have a big day with either QB. But Vick is hot right now and you should ride him until he busts. But is this the week he comes back to Earth?

Eli has thrown for about 500 more yards than Ron Mexico, with 60 more attempts and has 5 more passing TDs. I think he also has more weapons than Ron Mexico does. Atlanta is more of a running team.

Both teams are giving up huge points defensively too. Houston 26 per game and Detroit 27 per game.

I would say go with Eli this week.

Alright, I need some help so I’m bringing this thread back from the ashes.

I’m in the Championship game this weekend and I’ve got a RB question.

Should I start Willie Parker VS. Baltimore? Or Cedric Benson VS. Detroit?

Ok, I know that Fast Willie has been on a fire the past couple of weeks but now he’s playing the Ravens. Who have allowed like 70 yards rushing a game and no rushing TDs since week 11. That’s just sick.

Thomas Jones is dinged up in Chicago and everyone keeps talking about Benson getting more involved. And the matchup against Detroit is excellent for Benson.

So, I know people will say, stick with the guys that got you this far. But Fast Willie has a tendency to disappear and now is not a good time for him to do that.

So, what do ya’ll think?
