no doubt, you should be able to find a Williams type WR on the waiver easily
dre wrote:
Alright, here are his two offers with Bulger included.

 1. Bulger, Taylor for Gates, Parker
 2. Bulger, Taylor for Gates, Foster, Reggie Williams

1 isn’t an option. I would be downgrading from Parker to Taylor.

2 isn’t that bad. I have 3 stud WRs and Williams just sits on my bench. I have Holt, Boldin and D. Jackson.

Should I pull the trigger? I would need to pick up a WR to get me through the bye weeks with Holt and Boldin.
I’m 6-0 now in my only draft league. Thanks to luck, good trades, and draft day soberness, my team is unstoppable.

I’ve got Eli, Steve Smith, Reggie Williams, T Barber, Tatum Bell, Maroney, A. Gates, Vinatieri who is finally coming back, and Chicago D. Strong bench too with Fitzgerald, Philly D, J Lewis, Shayne Graham and Alex Smith.

I’m going undefeated to the super bowl. No doubt in my mind.

Alright, he agreed. The offer is on the table and he’s going to accept it tonight when get gets home.

So, now I have to find a receiver. I noticed that someone dropped Mushin Muhammad. He would be a nice pickup. So, i’ll put a claim on him. But I need to find someone to play this week as Holt and Muhammad are both on their bye weeks. I could pick up Eric Parker for a week. He seems to be coming on in SD. Or Greg Lewis in Philly or Marcus Robinson in Minn. What do you guys think?

I’m also going to need a TE. Ben Watson was just released so he’s going to be available. Greg Wrightster has a good matchup against Houston this week.

Also, do I drop Grossman or Leinart? I like Leinart better but I need to drop one of them.

 1. not sure that Muhammad is a decent fantasy option anymore. From what I’ve seen, Grossman targets Berrian an awful lot.

 2. Watson should eventually come around. And forget Wrightster, the JAX TE is Marcedes Lewis, their first-rounder who should be healthy now.

 3. You have to keep Leinart so you can play him this week, right?

Very possible, Eli little too much hit/miss though if you ask me. I have him in one of my leagues. If Fitz comes back as Fitz I think you got it, but your second WR slot could use an upgrade.

Dont you have an extra kicker or D you can drop?

I would try and trade Grossman, package him with another WR for a WR2.

 1. Yeah, you are probably right. Berrian seems to be the go to guy right now. But, like I said, it’s just someone to get me though the bye weeks.

 2. Alright, i’ll see if I can get Watson.

 3. Yup, again you are right. I have to keep Leinart to play this week.

Yeah, I have another kicker I can drop but after this week because my current kicker on on a bye week. And Carney is having a heck of a year so I don’t want to drop him.

Alright, i’ll see if I can package Grossman for someone else.

Great find AA. That is great. I’m going to be sending that one to my buddies for a little Friday afternoon fun.

Fucking Leinart man, I started him for zero points. Watch Bledsoe blow up on Monday night. It did not hurt me because the guy in second place scored the same as me but I could have and should have extended my lead. So still in first place, thank you LJ, LT and Patriots D.

I am down by 5 in one league with Eli still to go so should be money as long as Eli doesnt pull a Grossman.

I am up by 35 in one league but he still has Glenn and Plaxiglass still to go so that may be tight but should be ok.

And I have 162 points in the league I am undefeated in and I still have Tiki and TO to go, that is ridiculous!! McNabb, Westbrook, Andre Johnson, Ward all blew up! I had Leon Washington with 20 something on the bench. I did not get anything from my TE, kicker or Defense but I did not even need it.

A

Alright fellas, I have two lineups issues this week that I need some help with.

Issue 1:
Maroney vs Minnesota
or
McAllister vs Baltimore

Right now i’m going McAllister because he gets the carries and the goal line touches. However, his hamstring is tweaked but he’s had a bye week to rest it.

Maroney hasn’t really shown anything since his big 2 TD game a month or so ago. It’s obvious after last week that Dillon is still the man in NE. So, I just can’t take a change on him right?

Both RBs are playing against the top rated run Ds in the league. My other RB is Chestor Taylor. So, yeah, my RBs suck.

Issue 2:
Grossman vs SF
or
Bulger vs SD

Grossman obviously has the favorable matchup this week against SF. Coming off a bye week to rest and regroup I’m thinking he could have a big outing.

Bulger is also coming off a bye week and playing against a banged up and weaker SD defense. If Damon Haurd can carve up the SD defense, Bulger should have a field day.

What do you guys think?

whatup dre.

Issue 1 - I like C Taylor as usual, and would really expect him to blow up if Seymour is out. MIN will not beat a Belichick DEF through the air. I also like Maroney in his homecoming (he was a standout at Minnesota), but McAllister is definitely the safer play.

Issue 2 - I agree that Grossman is tempting, but Bulger is an every week starter with 10-1 TD/INT so far.

Good luck this week.

chillain, you are correct about Bulger. I guess I gotta start him. I did trade for him to upgrade my QB position.
FightinIrish26 wrote:
Alright- Bulger at San Diego or Favre at Arizona?

I also have Driver, so I’m not sure what the best combo will be.

By the way, I’m 7-0.
Bulger for sure. With Jennings out this week Driver is going to be doubled all day. Driver also hasn’t been beating to many people lately because he’s been banged up. I think Favre is going to have to throw the ball to his TE’s alot this week or they are going to run alot. Ruvell Martin (rookie)is going to be starting opposite Driver and that’s not a good thing. Another rookie Chris Francies will be the third WR.

The Green Bay passing attack is not looking too strong right now. I should know, I watch ever game.

I got my ass handed to me again. A few weeks ago I was sitting pretty at 4-1. I’m now 4-4 and got completely destroyed.

The fucking 49ers are killing me. I got beat bad a couple weeks ago when the Chargers played them. The guy I was against had Rivers, Tomlinson, and Gates that week. Then yesterday the 49ers played the bears and my opponent had Grossman, Desmond Clark, and the Bears D. WTF!!!

How is everyone else making out?

6-2
5-3
8-0
First place in overall league. I extended my league with having both LJ and LT. First place is a grand right now and climbing. It is 3 bucks a transaction.

6-2 in one league and looking dominant in first place. 4-4 in the other league but not out of it yet. Only out of first place by 1 game.

Made two transactions this week that should help my team. Someone dropped Kitna so I picked him up and dropped Brad Johnson. Big improvement there. And i’ve been trying to work a trade with this guy for Rudi Johnson and he finally offered me something. I can’t believe this. Rudi Johnson for Deuce McAllister. Is he nuts? So, I got that going for me… which is nice. So, my RBs are looking better now. R. Brown, R. Johnson, C. Taylor and L. Maroney.

And the guy who dropped Kitna also has Culpepper on his roster. Instead of dropping Culpepper who might not play again this season he drops Kitna. Who is having a good year in the pass happy offense of Mike Martz. What a moron.

Alright, just pulled off another trade but this one is in my Yahoo league. Maurice Jones-Drew for Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson.

So my WRs are, Holt, Boldin, D. Jackson and C. Johnson. Unfukinreal.

I think I have a stacked team and should repeat as champ.

Bulger, Grossman
Holt, Boldin, D. Jackson, Ocho Cinco
LT, Parker, C. Taylor, M. Bell, Lundy
R. McMichael, Desmond Clark
Saints K
Balt. Defense

Yeah, i’m stacked.

Alright guys, I could use your help with my RB situation this week.

Ronnie Brown at CHI
Mike Bell/Tatum Bell at PIT
Brandon Jacobs vs HOU

I need to start two. Any thoughts?
