I originally offered LJ for LJ straight up. He asked for Jordan, Bledsoe, C. Taylor, Glenn, Chambers, and Coles. That would have left me with Driver and Ward as my receivers, Pennington at QB, and Jackson & Maroney at RB. I was expecting him to ask for alot.

I offered him Jordan, Bledsoe, C. Taylor and his choice of 1 receiver but he wouldn’t take it. He said that he changed his mind and wanted to keep LJ. I then offered him the same deal plus another receiver and he still said no.

I wasn’t worried about giving up too much because there are still some decent FA options available such as Leinart, Carr, Favre, D. Williams, Jones-Drew, Norwood, Barlow, R. Williams, Ma. Robinson, and C. Henry. Not to mention that he didn’t have the roster space for the players he was asking for so he would have had to release some decent players from his own team to make room for the trade.

At least I tried.

Holy whackbags why didn’t he just ask for you whole freakin’ team. That’s just insane to ask for that much.

Like I said I was expecting it. I mean, let’s face it, I originally offered him Lamont Jordan for Larry Johnson! Frankly, I was surprised he even considered it enough to make me a counter offer.

Someone picked up Doug Gabriel and dropped Plaxico Burress. So, I picked up Burress and dropped Michael Clayton. I think it’s a nice upgrade. I know Burress has his back issues and his issues in general but I think it’s a definite upgrade over Michael Clayton.

How did everyone else do this week?[/quote]

He dropped Burress to pick up Doug Gabriel?!? What an idiot.

The bye week came at a good time for Burress. Supposedly he’s close to 100 percent now. Regardless of his issues, he’s always a big threat to score. I think he’ll get 9 to 11 TDs this year, while Gabriel will probably not get more than 6.

He probably did that as a way of pointing out how ridiculous the original proposal was. That’s what I do. If somebody makes me an offer that I would be stupid to accept, I’ll make a counter offer giving up my worst player for their 3 best players or something like that.

Yeah, good point.

4-0 so far, only undefeated team left. We’ll see how long I can carry that with Alexander being down and out. Kevin Jones picked up the slack for me last week with 2 TD’s.

By the way Dre, who’s the leading rusher so far this season? I think it’s somebody you weren’t sold on before the season…

Yeah, yeah, it’s McGahee and i’m still not sold on him. Vick is currently 5th in the league in rushing, so that’s not a big deal to me. If you give someone the ball enough they are going to pile on the yards. Well, unless that someone is Chestor Taylor… that bastage. grumble, grumble

McGahee FINALLY found the endzone this week. Only took him 4 weeks to do that. It’s still early in the season. Talk to me at week 13 and 14 and we’ll see who is leading the league in rushing. I guarantee it won’t be McGahee.

Yeah thats the spirit Randy, way to be a team player…

Randy Moss-WR-Raiders Oct. 3 - 1:54 pm et

WR Randy Moss gave fodder to his critics during a radio interview Monday, saying: “I’m not concerned about football right now. I’m loving life.”

“I don’t see anybody else having a concern, so why should I?” Moss said. “There are negative things going on now. I’m not the only one unhappy.” As they did in Minnesota, things could get ugly with Moss if the Raiders continue to struggle.

You’re probably right, but this jerkoff hasn’t even set a roster since Week 1. Johnson just sits on his bench. This past week he started Cadillac Williams in place of LJ which is bad enough, but to top it off, Williams was on a bye. I was kind of surprised to hear from him so fast. I didn’t even think he cared which is why I made him a stupid offer in the first place. Oh well, maybe he’s acutally going to start to play now. I definitely have to get into a more hardcore league next year.

In order to get the ball as many times as Willis has, you have to be doing something right.

Willis’ touchdown totals should be better, true. However, the Bills red zone blocking has been terrible. They were without Daimon Shelton against the Jets which removed their goal line offense, which didn’t help either. He should have 2-3 by now, but I’d be willing to bet he starts piling them on now.

See you in week 14, with McGahee still on top.

Yeah, we have a guy like that in our Yahoo league. Last year he just quit playing halfway through the season. So, this year the Commish asked him if he wanted to play and he said yes. He said he would pay attention and stay active, so we push the draft day back to accommodate this f*ckstick. Well, lo and behold, as soon as the bye weeks start he isn’t making any changes to his roster. I played him this past week and he had 3 players on byes and didn’t change it. It freakin’ sucks. Guys who do that deserve a punch in the taint.

And the kicker is, the guy has a decent team. Palmer, S. Moss, Housh, R. Brown, LaMont, Antonio Bryant, Vick, J. Walker, and K. Jones. He almost beat me this week with having 3 guys on a bye!

So, we’ve been thinking of just locking him out. Or locking him out, and dropping all his players so others can pick them up. But that might create some controversy or something.

What would you guys suggest?

Yeah, you might be right, but I just don’t see it. I just don’t see him leading the league in rushing. Maybe if he was on a different team. But then again, Losman is playing pretty good now so that will help him.

Poor, poor Randy.

FoxSports Radio reports Randy Moss would like to be traded.
In his interview with Chris Myers earlier this week, Moss implicitly expressed dissatisfaction with the Raiders’ coaches. “If they feel trading me and getting me out is the best thing to do, I?ve been traded once, two won?t hurt.” Moss, as well as many other players are also thought to be unhappy that Jerry Porter continues to ride the bench.

Not much you can do now. Have the commish talk to him and dont invite him back next year.

Charge for losses next year or have the guy that comes in last take you fools out to eat. Thats what we do in one league.

A guy in my league just dropped Matt Jones. Does anyone think he’s a good pick up? I know he’s hurt right now and hasn’t done much but I have a spot for him and he has great potential. I’m debating between him, Reggie Williams, D. Williams, Michael Robinson, Jones-Drew, and Leinart.

After some thought, I also dropped Matt Jones since he’ll sit this week and be on bye for Week 6. I’ll prob try to pick him up again later, but groins and hamstrings (he’s hurt both) generally tend to linger.

What are your team’s needs? Reggie Williams should be on someone’s roster. And I still love DeAngelo’s upside.
