Trade question, would you guys do the following?

Delhomme, Brandon Jacobs
for
Culpepper, Stallworth

Pepp and donte should have monster years. Big YES! I don’t like either of the other two.

Yeah, like I said to AA, the guy denied it and said that he wanted to wait one more week. So, hopefully both of those guys will have crappy games and we’ll do the deal next week![/quote]

Try to get stallworth. i wish I would have got him. He has MCNABB and is the main target on a team that passes it on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th down.

Huge year for stallworth. I never saw that trade comming.

Alright, it sounds like Steve Smith is going to be out again this week. So, this is what i’m thinking for WRs.

S. Moss
E. Wilford
T. Heap

I also have Michael Clayton and Corey Bradford. But Clayton plays the Falcons and Bradford plays the Bears. Both shutdown defenses. Heap plays the Raiders and I think he will do better than the other two.

Also, should I drop Bradford and take a chance on that Marques Colston from the Saints. I took Bradford in the 16th round so it wouldn’t really matter to me.

I like the upside of this rookie more than the upside of Bradford.

Dont expect too much my friend. Moss may do ok against Dallas, Wilfrd plays Pitt and Heap is questionable. I am starting Heap at TE in one of my leagues but that kid Wilcox better stop vultering td’s from Heap. U are hurting at WR with Smith out.

I took some sidebets at the beginning of the season. One is for 100 bucks and its Cardinals fantasy (me) against Indy fantasy (guy in my office) for the season.

It is a pretty good match up. I am ahead by 18 pts right now. You get whoever started that game at QB, 2 WR, RB, TE, K and the DST.

I scored big with Warner last week and Edge should have the advantage at RB over Rhodes/Addai. I like the AZ WR’s better. DST favors Indy somewhat, Kickers are even but I am gettign killed at TE, Clarke outscored Pope by 8 last week.

Still it is interesting side action.

I know, i’m starting to regret drafting Smith. I had him No. 3 on my depth sheet during the draft and I still picked him first. I don’t know what the fuk I was thinking! Oh well, hopefully he’ll get healthy quick.

I think i’m just going to drop Bradford and pick up that kid from the Saints.

That’s a great idea. I actually like your offensive players better than his. Provided that Warner can stay healthy.

Good luck with that!

Yeah but even if he does not, I get Leinert as my starter so could be worse.

Here it to honor Go Heavy’s love affair with Aaron Brooks.

Apparently the European version of “Madden” has a glitch where, if you’re playing in superstar mode and not controlling the QB, he’ll throw the football backward on every play. I mention this not because it’s a funny YouTube clip, but because the person who posted that YouTube clip called it, “the Aaron Brooks glitch.” In other words, they decided to name the glitch after the real-life QB who’s most likely to throw the ball 35 yards backward during a game.

Aint that the truth! So, AA… what the hell should I do with Moss this week? I have Harrison in. I have to bench Walker, Driver, or Moss. I’m thinking Moss should ride the bench with Baltimore’s DEF.

I’m going with Warner too. Over Bledsoe and Favre.

I got one more choice to make. I’m going with Jamal Lewis over Dillon and Mike Bell this week.

How many errors did I make?

Hey AA ya know that OAK offensive line aint helping my Moss-Brooks defense at all.

I know I’m fucked. Get me Emmit Smith’s 1,600lb line and I’m money.

I think you are definitely right in benching Moss. The Baltimore D should shut them down just like SD’s D did. I wouldn’t start Moss until the Oakland Offense scores.

You definitely need to go with Warner again this week. Ride him while he’s healthy! Bledsoe looks a bit rough and Favre looks awful.

I also would go with Jamal this week. He looked good last week and that was against a Tampa Bay D that was suppose to be very good.

Overall, I think you are making all the right moves.

LOL…That is the funniest shit, if only it were Brooks. The sad part is
I think this would be considered a good game if Brooks could complete this feat. I mean hey…at least the ball would spend more time in the air than he does on the ground…and they say it’s a glitch…HA!!

Ok…

Need a WR so looking to trade:

  1. Dunn for Holt (Tie??)
  2. Dunn for Stallworth (Potentially favor him more)

With Holt I know what I’m getting, but based on last week’s perfromance Stallworth maynot be too bad with McNabb. I’m pretty stacked at RB so Dunn is expendable. I wonder if I wait until after this week and then decide or pull trigger now…Oh ya dude has Owens,Chad,Holt, and Stallworth, so he will do either because he really wants Dunn.

Any thoughts???

I’d bench Moss. Walker against KC after Denver was embarrassed…look out. Plummer will have a good game and Driver against NO should be money.

Moss against Bmore…ouch. I like Jamal, i am starting him, he is listed as questionable right now but should be fine. Just keep an eye on it.

Holt is Rotoworld’s number one WR this season and I agree. Holt will give you steady production all year which is important in a heads up league. If you get yeards for catches and yeards in addition to TD’s, Holt is your man.

I got him in 2 leagues and this is the third year in a row, rarely does he lay an egg. Stallworth has potential but has only had oen good game with Donnie Mac.

AA -
You pretty much confirmed what I was thinking. I’ll go with Holt…before he changes his mind…

FYI: This is from the ESPN leagues for most added/dropped.

*Notice the large increase after week1…wtf…How are these people even allowed to play FFL, what’s next Jerry Rice…or the Bus.
I guess people think he’s gonna come out of retirement and save the franchise…WoW!!!

  1. Jimmy Smith, Jac WR 4.6 (owned prev) 13.2 (owned current) +8.7 (change)

-Thanks again

Still trying to get a third good reciever, but no one’s biting on my attempts.

Try to get Stallworth. I might try to get Stallworth and a better Rb by trading Randy Moss and one of my backs.

I smell a season cooking for stallworth, especially with McNabb and he’s the main target on that all pass team. Philly is a sleeper team this year with an improved DEF.

Yeah I like that. I picked up San Diego DST in two of my leagues (Carolina and Tampa Bay). I am starting them, at home against TN should be lovely.

I also start Ravens against Oakland and Chicago against Detroit.

Cincy DST may still be out there, good mach up against Cleveland at home.

I like Kaeding of SD, I have him in three leagues. I am starting Robby Gould in another league. Nedeny should be fine. Haeding is somewhat of a sleeper, he may be available and SD may stall at times in the red zone as seen in the Oakland game plus he has made like 18 in a row dating back to last season
