I am 20 years old, i ve been weight training consistenly for a year, using mostly Chad Waterbury’s programms and now i m doing big beyond belief!(to gain some size) my strength has gone up alot since i started.
bench 100kg/225lbs.—>130kg./286lbs.
squat 105kg/230lbs.—>145kg./320lbs.
deadlift 130kg./286lbs.—>190kg./420lbs.
weight 82/180lbs.–>85kg./187lbs. but leaner
height 180cm/5ft.11’
i m surely not intrested in becoming a pro bodybuilder, just wanna be strong(want to compete in discus throwing-not professionaly though- my goal is to throw over 45m/150ft.) and look good naked;) I want you to tell me which are my lagging bodyparts besides my calves, it’s quite difficult for me to tell. my arms are like 15,7inches and my waist around the belly button is 33inches.
Is this a troll? Not sure what you want to hear…you look untrained. Get consistent with your diet and in the gym, post pictures again in a year or two. And pull your briefs up man!
I wouldn’t go as far as Pwolves. Your numbers are decent enough for a year of training, and a couple of the pictures are better than others. The advice I would give is the same though. Keep working if you want to get a more favorable response on a site like this. Your physique is not exactly impressive. Everything needs work, so I wouldn’t bother focusing on any one area more than the rest.

You’re right, he doesn’t look untrained and does have solid numbers for 1 year of training. A few of the pictures really distracted me from the ones that actually show some progress though lol
Thank you for your honest words. I really did not think at all that my physique was impressive but i think @85kg/187lbs i have some decent size on my frame especially on back chest traps and thighs.(people tell me that i obviously do look like i lift even with clothes on) But, as i said, i am not into competing and therefore i do not know how to pose or set up the lighting properly to favour my physique.
I think my weak points are my body fat(think it’s around 13-15%, if you care to share what you think id be much obliged), my calves and my upper arms. Which I am trying to address by doing Big Beyond Belief(6day) while maintaining my body fat. Thanks in advance.
that’s definitely a more favorable picture. That first picture was awful. It wouldn’t hurt to drop a percentage or 2 off your bodyfat. Your midsection would probably look significantly better with just a small drop. Your arms look proportionate. I think that if anything’s lagging, it’s your back. Every shot you produced of your back looks bad. Heavy rows for sets of 12 (I prefer dumbbells) and pull ups can bring that up in a hurry.
maybe again, i just cant take a proper photo of my back:P i can see striations on my lower traps and people mostly tell me that my back and traps are my strong bodypart along with my quads.(my maximum full rom chinup is BW(187lbs.) plus 50kg./110lbs.)
Anyway, I ll stay consistent with my diet my training my supplementation and my sleep as i have been doing for a year! generally i have long arms 192cm/75inches (height 5ft11.) and a big ribcage(46inches) with big collarbones. my waist is kinda normal i guess, but the main problem are the love handles which are quite big.(think its because of wearing pants while getting fatter when i was a kid).
I just ordered a 50 day supply of arachidonic acid and hope to see some good gains. Right now I am finishing the third week of ramp1 of Big Beyond Belief(feel exhausted and so far gained 2 pounds-mostly LBM)and next week starts the overgrowth phase(less stress) and i will either use ara on the overgrowth phase, or in the mi40 workout(ben pakulski)im planning to do later.
If i dont have enough time though(med student) instead of mi40 i might jump straight into 5/3/1 full body variation. Of course i ll upload some photos after the ara and tell you what happened!Any thoughts?Id be delighted to hear them!I am so glad i jus became a TNation forum member(ive been reading TNation articles for a year now-everyday!) and i hope, it will keep me motivated and make me learn new things from the dialogues with the other members! and again, flipcollar, thank you for expressing your honest opinions! Have a nice day!

Don’t skip MI40, 5,3,1 will help for strength but MI40 will give you them gainz and more importantly lots of Q’s and tips. Program is kick ass IMO.
