Tunapancake this is controversial I guess. I hope controling the thyroid will control the rest.
KSman, and about the mind and your personality did it change?

TT=1000 and E2=38 is bad, E2 should be in the lower 20’s
Just deal with tyroid issues and stop worrying about secondary effects.[/quote]
Damn, I’d kill for those values!

TRT for me increased social activities, sex, energy initiative. Taking E2=37–>22 improved libido and made me less emotional and more analytical.
And on top of that I have struggles with a lack of dopamine that require other drugs that I discuss frequently.
Another question about hypothyroid and AF
If my temperature is stable but low for example when I wake up is X and all the other days it continues being X, in the afternoon is Y and it continues being Y so my adrenals is Ok and I just have a problem in thyroid right? If I wake up one day and is X and the other day is X.5 so the problem is the adrenals?
Some say so.
KSman could you tell me some natural sources to treat adrenal fatigue? I know that supplements like B5 would help can you tell me another? Also I would like to know if DHEA would help too and if I supplement DHEA will I have my testicles atrofied, infertility etc?
You need to read “the book” http://www.amazon.com/Adrenal-Fatigue-Century-Stress-Syndrome/dp/1890572152
DHEA will not change your testes or fertility. That idea is bogus.
With adrenal fatigue, DHEA can go down because DHEA is created in the adrenals. So it is recommended.
The problem is that I can’t buy it. I will try to search it for an online reading.
KSman for adrenal fatigue in the last resort I wouldn’t like to use HC so could I supplement pregnenolone it helps with libido? There is any risk? I hope to use less supplements as possible and also hoping treating adrenal fatigue helps with thyroid and testosterone but I know that I should and I will supplement vitamin D and also hopes it will increase my testosterone and help with other things my levels is 9 very deficient.
You cannot get the book mailed to you? There is a lot there that you need to consider.
My new blood work please can anybody tell me anything about HGH
Testosterone 480
Free Testosterone 460 (from 131 to 640) I think it’s good. Free testosterone is more important than testosterone?
LH 4.5
FSH 2.5
Progesterone 72 (from 20 to 90)
Prolactin 11
ACTH 32 (until 46)
HGH 3.35 microg/L (0,02 - 0,97 microg/L)
DHEAS - 351 microg/L (from 20 to 34 years old the reference - 160 to 492)
B12 - 279 (normal is above 300)
Vitamin D 14 (from 30 to 70)
Ferritin 100 (from 36 to 262)
Free T3 - 33 (from 24 to 37)
Free T4 - 1.1 (from 0.9 to 1.7)
Also I saw a lot of people with the same testosterone level that I am taking Isocort and getting morning wood again and libido. Maybe should I look at it? I will do my cortisol test and my reverse T3 that I think is high because B12 and adrenal fatigue can increase RT3. So I’d like to know if fixing reverse T3 the TSH will drop? Because my free T3 that is the most important from the thyroid is in a good range and some thyroid patients told me that T4 is just important to convert to T3.
Other thing that I’m worried is that my IGF-1 is high
597 ng/mL 21 - 25 years: 199 116 - 341 ng/mL
I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue
My cortisol in the morning (saliva) was 94 in a range that goes from 100 to 600
I still not started the treatment when I start I will put here what the improvements I’m seing I hope, and I’m praying to solve my problems with the treatment with HC and also hope that there’s no need to thyroid med or TRT.
High TSH, high IGF1 is indicative of adrenal fatigue I was very scaried that I had hypothyroid or cancer. Treating the adrenals heals the thyroid.
PLEASE someone answer me if the difference in values of testosterone is big when the person take 8 am or 1 pm.
Because I took my blood test at 1pm and my test came that number above. I hope its even higher taken 8am can somebody tell me (guess) a number that I would have if I had taken at 8am? But I think 480 even if it was 8am is not that bad I see a lot of people with numbers even lower than that restoring the sexual function when they treat the adrenals or thyroid.
GH has a half life in minutes and is released in pulses with significant amounts at night. GH lab work is mostly useless. IGF-1 tells the story.
High IGF-1 is better than low, address other problems and see where it ends up.
You did not report TSH.
Adrenals: Have you read Wilson’s book on adrenal fatigue? You can’t fix that with a pill. HC is a temporary thing. You need lifestyle and mindset changes and need to look for chronic illnesses and conditions that stress the body and thus adrenals. CRP will indicate is there are inflammatory conditions.
You need rT3 lab work.
Whats going on with iodine intake and body temperatures. Seen the thyroid basics sticky?
My TSH is 3.2 it is indicative of adrenal fatigue treating it my TSH will be lower and RT3 will be lower too I did the Rt3 lab work but I need to wait the result.
Some people say that Wilson’s book is not that good but I’d like to read it online. To remove HC you need to take high dosage vitamin C. I saw a lot of people taking of HC with vitamin C and living well. HC is only temporary if the person has primary adrenal fatigue if the person is secundary they need it for life terciary too. What is CRP? Lifestyle and mindset help just a little bit is the same thing as lifestyle and mindset to increase testosterone.
My thyroid numbers are good the only problem is high TSH for now and it will decrease when I treat my adrenals.
IGF-1 when is higher than the limit is not good because it can be acromegaly but if the person has adrenal fatigue IGF and HGH can be very high so no acromegaly for me (thanks God)
KSman could you do a guess about my T levels if I took it 8am?
Need help. I still have no libido. My recent test. I hope my problem would be just DHT. Can you guys tell me if my DHT is lower enough to make me feel no libido at all?
Testosterone: 510 (from 250 to 825)
Free Testosterone: 480 (until 640)
E2: 29
Prolactin: 9
DHT: 27 (from 25 to 100)
I’m writting here because I know the rules here. So I’d like an advice specially from KSman. The good thing is that I can buy Proviron because I live in Brazil. And I saw a guy with low DHT from propecia and he also had TSH 4.8 and he fixed all his symptons like ED, no libido, no energy just taking proviron. So the other question I’d like to ask is if TRT, or fixing testosterone, DHT reduce TSH?
Please answer me fast I’m kinda depressed.
No it will not fix tsh but fixing tsh could possibly improve T scores.
One with thyroid problems may feel much worse on trt as I did. The thyroid may not be able to handle the metabolic demand of the testosterone.
What’s going on with the thyroid I haven’t read your whole post so my knowledge of your situation is limited bud
My TSH is 3.2. But I see many people fixing Thyroid when they take DHEA, or Licorice Root. And also this guy that I said had 4.8 TSH and fixed his problems just taking proviron. His testosterone, free testosterone and E2 is similar to mine.
My main question is about my DHT level that is my major concern. Is it low enough to make me feel no libido?
I’m not on TRT. My Lh and Fsh is not necessary since is not very high. My testicles can produce testosterone.
You can’t fix the problem without first knowing what the problem is.
Dht is critical and 10 times more potent then testosterone. Is that your problem? Maybe… But maybe not. Everyone is different .
I’ll look through your thread and see if I see anything that stands out for me I you would like? I don’t want to offer any advice I you would rather wait for ksman.
Have you loaded large amounts of iodine?
Ok you can do it. But as I said I saw many people reducing their TSH when they take DHEA, replace cortisol etc. I also saw a guy who had TSH 18.8 and got it to 1 when he fixed his problems and he doesn’t even touched T4, T3, Iodine, Armour. He just fixed it by using licorice root.
Another guy he had TSH 4.8 and low DHT like 10 in the same range I posted. He fixed libido, energy, etc with proviron.
Do you guys think my DHT is low? Because I’m hoping that is low enough to cause no libido in me.
About the TSH. Many people don’t convert T–>DHT and it can be worse, can decrease by taking T shots. That’s why I guess people don’t feel good enough in TRT sometimes and maybe lower DHT can increase the TSH. If I have 27 and my TSH is 3.2 and the guy who had 10 his TSH was 4.8 and he fixed all his problems just taking proviron. Maybe his TSH has reduced. If I fix my problems I wouldn’t mind about my TSH level if I feel good enough.
You don’t know what is wrong!!
Comparing yourself to someone on the Internet or a story you heard could be a mistake…
I see ksman advised rt3 testing!! Have you done that? If you think you can fix it try it… I suggest finding the root of your problem…
