I just wrote what I think that desregulated my hormones. I will see DHT, cortisol (I don’t think I’m stressed)and thyroid. But I still think thyroid will change according to my prolactin and E2. But if it didn’t I will take the medicine
Ok I was looking my other blood works and saw my T3 low. Others with higher TSH like 3.8 other with 4.2 so I will post here.
T3 94 (ref 70 until 220)
Does anybody know If I threat my thyroid would I feel alive again? Like having morning wood again and my libido back? Please KSMan and others who understand a lot please post something here.
All I want is my sex drive back. I also feel tired the whole day and have a terrible memory, it’s hard to concentrate too etc.
Do you know any person who threat Thyroid and had the sexual problems solved? I’d not mind to take the medicine everyday for the rest of my life since I start to live again
Read my post above about thyroid. I am on T3 only and feel much better. I can’t say if it had any effect on my libido as I was normalizing my test as well but it won’t hurt. Getting your thyroid in order will help your whole axis function better supporting normal test production. Whether treating your thyroid fixes your libido is irrelevant though as you need to get your thyroid right just for overall health. Test your DHT as it is a big part of libido.
Ptwonmike. Do you know any case of a person who started to treat T3 started to wake with morning wood, have libido again? You said that you feel much better, could you tell me more about it? Do you know if T3 has a specific contribution to libido and morning wood? If I’m not wrong I read a guy who did PCT and then started to use T3 and felt amazing with his libido for 6 weeks and then he stoped T3 and the symptons started to come again. Other question how do you take T3 once per day? I’m very grateful to your attention.
I was getting treated with testosterone when I started T3 so I can’t tell you one way or another whether my thyroid meds helped my libido. It can’t hurt so I would recommend you get your thyroid treated and hopefully your libido returns.

And how do you feel now? Are you waking up with morning wood nowadays? How is your libido? I’ve sent you a PM
-post your iodine intake, we need to know if you might be iodine deficient.
Iodine deficiency should be treated with iodine, not thyroid drugs. Doctors miss that. Re-read the advice for new guys sticky and note thyroid issues, body temperature, iodized salt, sea salt etc.
You are missing critical issues.
You cannot directly change SHBG, it goes where ever it wants to and E2 levels are a major factor.

I’m feeling great now, but my testosterone has gone from 180 to over 900 since I started thyroid drugs(I started TRT around the same time), so there is no way to say how much the T3 helped my libido and morning wood and how much was from the increased testosterone. Most likely most of my sexual improvement is from the testosterone. Either way you need to sort out your thyroid. With your testosterone being excellent I’d say sorting out your thyroid may well help your libido but you won’t know until you try. Follow KSman’s advice.
KSMAN: Is there any blood test that shows my iodine level? Can you tell me if there is a relation with T4, T3 with morning wood and libido? I hope if I treat them I start to feel alive again. Also can you tell me if is true that Thyroid hormones help with testosterone levels I mean they help to stay in a good level. And about prolactin and estradiol they can help control too?
Ptownmike: I like to read stories of success. I hope I can write it too when I control my thyroid. Do you still take T3 medicine? Could you write your blood work before and after your T3 TRT? Could you also tell me your symptons before and after?
Guys I don’t have words to express how grateful I am. I hope follow these advices concerning my T3 I live well again.
What I have stated are basic to the function of the HPTA. Your prolactin is not a problem.
The testosterone-thyroid interactions are well known. That does not mean that you can fix your T problem that way. There are other possible problems that might reduce T levels.
We do see that low T can lower thyroid and vise versa.
You have a reading disability. You ignore important questions.
I’m trying to not ignore.
Do you know if low T3 and T4 reduces the body ability to get more vitamin D?
I’m thinking about the thyroid because I started getting weight easily, get tired and then my ED and low libido appeared. I read that thyroid can help maintain good testosterone level, good estradiol and prolactin.
I’m sorry if I’m making you tired to answer my questions but I really need help I’m desperate I can’t live like this anymore.

Just read page 1 again. We talked about thyroid right at the start but you blew it off and kept talking about your high e2 and how that is causing everything.
Nobody knows if getting your thyroid optimal will help or not with issues you have. But since there are some flags with your thyroid why not investigate it.
I read. Did you see my T3 values? It’s very low. I’m reading and some people returned their libido when they do a correct treatment of thyroid including T3. But I would like to know here because you guys know a lot about hormones, if thyroid helps to control estradiol and prolactin and testosterone. I just want to feel back to life I’m grateful to your help.
About iodine I think I take the necessary the salt here at home has iodine
Your reported body temperature is 97.7F, you are checking several times? That temperature is too low. So with that data, you seem to have a functional hypothyroidism problem. Your thyroid hormone lab results are not good. So there are two possibilities. One is thyroid medications for life, the other is fixing an iodine deficiency.
I will check when I wake up in the afternoon and before bed.
My salt has iodine. I will ask the doctor to check my iodine deficiency.
Is there any thing that fix iodine deficiency? Or I will need to supplement iodine? If I supplement iodine I will need to do it for life like thyroid medication.
KSMAN with your knowledge. Could you tell me the benefits of fixing thyroid and the relation with testosterone, prolactin, estradiol. Morning wood, libido etc.

Hi please someone answer and help me.
I’m 20 years old I took serms and my test went to 984 my lh to 12 but my estradiol is 38 pg/ml. I don’t have thiroid problems my prolactin is 6.80 in a range from 3 to 17.70
I’m facing the high estradiol symptons like ED, no morning wood, no sex drive, poor atenttion
The only thing I want is to get my life back I’m very depressed I guess my height is 5’5" and my weight is 194 pounds. I’m fat specially in the belly fat. So I’m wondering if I can decrease my estradiol to a good number and stay with it definately by losing fat or is there any other way to control forever my estradiol to get back in my life as I’m not on TRT. Please answer my I’m very worried. I know KSMAN knows a lot about it. [/quote]
After reading thru this thread, and getting a headache for my trouble, I have come to the conclusion that one of two things is going on here: you are trolling or you are retarded. There are a lot of guys here trying to help you and you are not getting it. You don’t diet or exercise? What the hell are you even doing here? If you have this issues for real find a medical specialist and don’t ask for advice on a web forum. You should prolly start eating better and weight training. That would prolly go a long way to alleviate some of the symptoms you are having. And for God’s sake, don’t even start thinking about taking gear. GET THEE TO A GYM! (And another Dr.)
Dude, honestly, I don’t know why you’re thinking I’m trolling. I’m really bad with these things. I think you think it’s easy to live with these things. I get really nervous when I see people telling that I’m joking. I’m serios it’s not a thing that I like to feel. I eat very well and do go to a gym and also practice sports. Doctors are stupid is really hard to find a good one that don’t want just your money.
I’m getting it. It’s hard to a person that is only 20 years old thinking about the idea of living with this issue, living taking medicine that’s why I was trying to think that I didn’t have any thyroid problem. Put yourself in my place just for a seccond and if you’re getting here not to help, please don’t waste my time reading things that will get me to nowhere. Thanks.
You may or may not have iodine deficiency. You fix that with supplemental iodine. You can try that for a while and see if body temps improve and if you feel better. If that does not work, then there is the drugs.
If you are iodine deficient, you would take larger amounts of iodine, “iodine replenishment”, then take iodine maintenance doses. If your intake has been low, then you have a life time necessity to have an adequate intake.

Many functions in the body work poorly when thyroid hormones are low, so I will not answer your questions as many problems are possible.
Ptownmike: What is the medication of T3 that you’re using?
In Brazil we don’t have T3 I think I will have to import
I’m reading a lot of people that are restoring their libido, sexual activity who had hypothyroid with T3
Could you send me your e-mail to we talk better?
