Do you have any issues with food? I seem to have a problem where anytime I eat I become more fatigued. Ofcourse if I eat alot of food and/or bad food it’s worse. But, even if I eat a really healthy meal and small amounts it destroys my energy. It’s normal to feel slight more tired after a meal but it’s so bad that it kills me.
Yeah i get that. A meal can completely wipe me out sometimes where I need a nap afterwards.
It took me 3 months to feel good. It is because I needed thyroid all along. I suggest taking thyroid labs now and not waiting if you have a high tsh or abnormal TSH. Yah yah wait 6 weeks… but why wait 2 more weeks if thyroid was the issue. It will only save you a ton of frustration and fatigue.
Keep in mind that there are also plenty of folks who start trt and are fine within 1 weeks and continue like that for months. I don’t see many folks who are feeling like crap at 4 weeks and report back at week 6 saying they are fixed… they usually find out at week 6 what needs to be changed ![]()
That’s simply not true. I read these same forums. Not everyone has a thyroid issue.
What’s not true. I never said everyone had thyroid issues. I said if you think you have a thyroid issue get it checked . Waiting will do nothing for you.
As I have stated to you already I have had mine checked numerous times in the past and it was fine.
TRT is not a quick fix. I don’t ready anyone feeling great after 1 week.
I don’t read through every single topic before I respond. No offense and no worries. Take what you can leave the rest.
I deffinatly apreciate all the information you’ve given bud. I had my thyroid tested 3 times before starting TRT and the doc said my thyroid was great. I wish I had my numbers with me so I can post them but when I go back I will have him run everything again. It must be something. I figured I would notice something, even something small by now. I have no plans to quit of course. I’m starting to think my dose is the problem. I’m only on 80mg a week. I have not noticed any change after my injections. He did say I would probably need to be on a higher dose but wanted to start me out there until my 6 weeks ran up.
I have several friends on Trt and they were fine from the day they started. They never complained of huge drops in energy . They jsut stated they felt better over time. I guess they kept their mind off the topic and continued on with life.
Guys come here with problems nobody comes here saying weeee I feel awesome… thanks and bye
I also struggled heavily with fatigue on TRT. Meals would wipe me out too. I was never able to solve it, and gave up on TRT.
How long were you on TRT before giving up?
That’s crazy. I bet If you find a good trt specialist like Nelson Virgil , or dr Keith Nichols you’ll be fixed right up brother. Don’t give up if your still fatigued. There is an answer out there. I feel your pain man.
Get your old labs and post them. I’d be curious to see if anyone can find a problem with the blood test and help you figure it out.
Never trust lab ranges. They lower and change often. It really is shady. I think last year the low range on T was 50 points higher than today. The max was 100 or so points higher. It’s like they are in the pockets of insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Corruption man… corruption
I was on TRT for 14 months before giving up. I spent some time working with Defy. My primary struggle is ED both on and off TRT.
Here’s a link to a bit more info along with my latest labs off TRT. There are many more, but nothing certain yet other than my DHEA and cortisol are quite high.
I keep hearing great things about Defy but it seems even they can’t figure out all cases. I’m sorry you never sorted your issue out @stepbystep . I’m trying to go one little step at a time with my protocol. I need to be able to identify each variable and make one change at a time. Everyone’s body is different. I appreciate all the info I get on these forums in hopes I can solve my issue some day. Thanks @enackers for your assistance.
@stepbystep I tried clomid also with no success. My Libido and energy were horrible so I quit after a few months.
I plan on really watching my diet to try and rule out the Fatigue. atleast until I go back for my labs and see where I am at. Last night I noticed I had way more acne on my back. Must be the TRT as I have a strict process for body and facial cleaning. LowTSucks, how well is your diet and exercise routines?
I should note that it’s not just fatigue I feel. It’s also a brain fog feeling. Things are in a haze right now. Even after 6 weeks of your levels finally stabilizing it takes time after that to begin to heal and feel better. I’m trying to stay busy and keep my mind off of it as much as I can. Going back to work has helped with that.
I just hit my 5 week completion mark. First O want to say that brain fog is also a serious concern of mine. But, the past few days I have felt slightly better. Not much, maybe a 10-15% change but I do feel a bit more positive and can go much longer periods of time without taking kratom. Also I noticed that I’ve now gained 10 pounds but I look way more cut than when I started. I’m also feeling awake sooner after I wake up than usual. Although my evenings have been mostly normal and tired, these small benefits mean alot. I did just change my diet last week, it may be contributing.
