2 Weeks into TRT, Random Fatigue

Well, im about to hit the 5 week completion mark in 2 days. I’ve stayed level the past few days, was a bit more energetic and outgoing 2 days ago while visiting a friend. Got compliments on how I look (he hadn’t seen me since starting TRT. I notice more deffinition in my muscles. I think im still flucuating but only 1 more week to go until I finish week 6. Im almost convinced fluctuation is what’s causing these swings. Not from dosing once a week (as im technically injectong every 5 days, just not every 4) but from the regular influx of hormones from changing dosages. Im hoping it levels off completely 8 days from now and the benefits really begin to pile on over time. And im hoping i dont have another wild swing again. It’s driving me crazy.

I literally had a swing right after posting this. I took my dose Sunday morning then spent all day Monday feeling like crap. I woke up this morning before my alarm, only took me 15 minutes to get situated, and feel pretty decent this morning.

Updates?

Tomorrow is 7 weeks in, I haven’t had a swing in the past 2 weeks. I don’t feel ontop of the world or ready to bust down the doors but I am more optimist than I have been. I’m still gaining weight thankfully, working out, I still have trouble getting up in the morning but I’m dealing. The only negative thing I see at the moment is a little more acne on my chest and back and I haven’t been as sexual interested. My estrogen may be a little high. I’m going to give it another week then go in for my test.

Just to add, by 7 weeks I mean 7 weeks into my latest dose of 120mg e5d. I also don’t mean to sound as if nothing is good. I do feel more normal, I just don’t feel amazing or anything. Im hoping to see more benefits as I stay on the proper dose (if these tests come back good) for an extended period of time. I think changing my protocol every 6 weeks so many times has just really taken a toll on me? Idk. That may not be how it works at all. But I will post my labs once I have them done.

I’m really feeling better and better each week! I actually feel good enough to pick up a second full time job, my relationship with the Ms. Is getting better, and I’ve been in a better mood overall. I don’t feel like superman by no means, but I do feel good. I still have to go in for my tests. The only negative effect I’m getting right now is a good bit of acne that started with this dose only. I’ve always had some light back acne, but now it’s doubled along with some on my chest, abs, shoulders, and neck. I do have one question though. The past weeks shots I’ve noticed that my left glute muscle feels like it’s trying to push the needle out when I’m trying to inject. I have to hold it with out forward pressure so it doesn’t back out. The right side doesn’t do this. Im moving all my weight onto the opposite leg assuming the muscle is tense but it happens every other week now. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts.

Im rather far in now. Everything just seems to continue to compound. My mood is way better, I have way more energy, I’m more focused. I even picked up a second job, working 18 hours a day with little struggle. I still have a tough time getting out of bed every morning but it’s a world’s difference from before. I couldn’t have imagined working 90 hours a week before hand. Im not gaining much weight at this point but that’s directly linked to my poor appetite. I’m a bit worried about my hairline at this point, but my beard is growing like weeds now. Im offically extremely grateful that I stuck it out and continued to suffer through the tough times to get to where I am at now with the treatment.

Hows libido? Arousal?

Your lifestyle is going to put you in the ground man. Just because you are on trt does not mean you don’t need sleep and rest.

So far both are fantastic. Morning wood is a guarantee, my ex is ecstatic with the newfound energy and attention she gets. It’s like I’m a brand new man at 25.

So far I haven’t had any issues. It took me a few weeks to get used to the new sleep schedule, but I’m getting more and more accustomed to it. The hardest part has been having to schedule everything and plan ahead for the smellest things. But I feel really fullfilled now. When I’m home I usually just clean or watch t.v., play a game, or work in my rentals when need be. Now that im being extremely oroductivr all the time I feel accomplished. And if things get to difficult I can easily drop back to 50 hours a week anytime.

Well I got my next set of labs back.
120mg e5d for a total of 155mg cypionate injected I.M.

Total T = 1,180
Free T = 19.5
Estrogen 176 scale = 40-112 (currently waiting on estradiol test)

Im assuming my free T is stuck at 19 because of the elevated estrogen? I was thinking about swapping from I.M. e5d 120mg. To a EoD 28.9mg subQ to reduce the estrogen to see if I feel even better and my backne subsides. I feel better than I did, bestI have in a long time, the only thing I can note is how coworkers have told me that they can tell when I’ve taken my shot vs. When I need to take my shot around the 4th to 5th day.
I picked up some 29g 1/2" needles today, but I just injected my normal 120mg IM yesterday. How would I go about swapping to subQ? Either wait for the 5th day then start my EoD subQ? Or tomorrow start EoD so it balances out to the full cycle by the time I make it to day 5?

Not sure where this math is coming from

120/5=24mg/day

24*7=168mg/week

I’ll be ***ed, 4 months ago my doctor prescribed me 155mg a week, then said if I wanted to do e5d to inject 120mg. I’ve never questioned it…

I dunno. I’d take the extra and go with it though, haha

Lmao, your right about that! What’s your thoughta on my inital question regarding the change to sub Q?

@jlambert1123
I wouldn’t switch to sub-q if you are also changing dosing/frequency. Wait a while after the new change and see how it goes and if you aren’t where you want to be you can try sub-q

No estrogen has nothing to do with it. If you want more free t give yourself more T.

I’ve been on this dose for roughly 4 months now. I feel better now. No major complaints besides the E and my co workers mention that they can tell a difference in me from when I take my shot vs. When I need to take it. I would continue to take this same amount I’ve been taking for 4 months, but would be changing the frequency of the shots from e5d to e2d. I just didn’t want to inject I.M. every 2 days, which is why I thought about going subQ for the frequency change.

My total T is pretty good, I just noticed that I had plenty of room to being free T up more. I doubt I could get more free T. I was just hoping that lowering the estrogen would allow more to free up. But I still need to drop the estrogen. The only way I could think of doing this was more frequent injections. I was hoping the free T would be an added benefit.
