Yeah, when the white guy is the one backing off and saying over and over that he doesn’t want to fight, but the little weasel keeps on pursuing and taunting him, it certainly is.
Maybe, maybe not, but hanging out with twenty other guys that do the same thing and wear shorts that any two of them would fit into while antagonizing a person or a smaller group of people sure does lead the uninformed public to jump to conclusions, no?

I watched the vid. again and I can’t hear anyone saying they don’t want to fight. THe video opens up with both of them arguing and the latin kid saying don’t ever touch my homie again then he backs up into an open area, where the white kid then empties his pockets and goes to meet him in the open area to fight. If someone backs up to fight that is not antogonizing, he’s defending his friend then backs up in an open are to challenge him the white kid could have easily walked away at that point.

I see 3 bald guys in the video and about 10 guys that are dressed similar to the white guy. Were you speaking hypathetically or were you referring to the video? I don’t think baggy clothing should lead anyone to jump to conclusions. Different cultures dress differently. Once again go to any hispanic neighborhood and see how they are dressed. Not just gangsters dress like that, it’s the style. If a white kid has baggy clothing he’s a skater if a latin or black man does he’s a gangster. I stopped dressing like that when I joined the military and now white and latin people tell me that I’m trying to be white now. It’s a lose lose situation. YOu can either be classified as a gangster or a sell out.
Either way they both fight like girls. If you look past his retarded stance and his little hand gesture and solely judge the fight by the punches thrown they both need a couple of boxing lessons.

OK, you are correct, nothing audible can really be made out (bad choice of words on my part), but I see the (presumably) latin kid running his mouth while the white kid stands there and does nothing after numerous taunts and finally, in a “fine, you asked for it, you got it” kind of way he hands his girl his stuff and steps out to fight. Yes, he could have walked away, but why should he have? What struck me is after the white guy got in that funky kung-fu crouch, the latin kid lost a lot of his piss and vinegar and his mouth stopped running. Yeah, the white kid looked kind of fruity in his Crouching Faggot stance, but in the end, the shit-talker got knocked dafuckout (or at least down real hard).
Really? I saw it the other way around. The little trash-talker clearly has more people (read; able-bodied males) on his side. And hearing him talk, the kid is obviously not a Hispanic neighborhood-bred gangster, but a wanna-be trying to play tough guy for his friends.

Oh the fact that he stopped running his mouth when he got in that stance definitely is not debatable. I’m not defending this kid in any way, but I’m not exactly blaming him either. I just don’t think the blame should be totally put on the shit talker. You are assuming that the “latin” kid has a very short temper and he is just running his mouth. But you see you could be wrong. They are all standing in a big group, I doubt some random kid just walked up to another kid and started accusing him of doing something to his friend and then try to fight him. As you said the latin kid wasn’t very tough when he saw the other guys stance, which probably means he knows he’s not a very experienced fighter. Which then leads me to believe that the white kid probably did mess with that guys friend which is why the latin kid stepped up to someone larger than him to fight. He may have been running his mouth to pump himself up because he was scared but felt like the right thing to do was to stick up for his friend.
I don’t think the males are standing on a particular “side”. I’m going more on how they are dressed. When there is a fight there is usually a circle of spectators, they don’t care which side they are on, they just want to see a fight.

Having heard it 100’s of times from punk after punk looking to make a name for himself. The “touch” in question is usually something as harmless as an extended arm to get someone out of their face, and the “friend” pounces on the opportunity to play tough guy.
I mean, think about it; if someone had done something serious like slug your friend (someone who was really your friend, not an aquaintance in your group who makes for a convenient excuse to show off), would you stand there and posture and talk shit for 5 minutes, or would you just lay into the guy (thereby increasing your chances of avenging your friend through surprise and landing the first blow)? If you wanted to settle the score, you’d do the latter. If you wanted to show off like you’re Billy Bad-ass and hope the other guy loses face by backing down (over what is really a non-conflict to begin with), the former seems like the route to take.
