19 Year Old with Low T

He said he’d prefer not to treat it since it might exacerbate my symptoms as my FT3/4 were already normal. He said my TSH was slightly elevated but said it was subclinical and stuff bordering around 10 would yield treatment. He also said that around 5-10% of the population have elevated TPAs without it being detrimental.

He advised me to check my TSH in 6 months and to see a psychiatrist for the mood issues (i.e. prone to stress, depression, anxiety lack of motivation, confidence).

Think he’s right?

No I think he is a jack ass.

If he was any kind of endo he would do further screening.

I know more tests but fuck, this guy has everything right in front of his eyes and he is blind.

Because of your symptoms I’m going to say you need to test rt3 but I already know what you will find.

I don’t know what to say and I understand your struggles cause I have the same kind of troubles…

Ask him for a thyroid ultrasound and a tsi test and tell him you believe rt3 and the adrenals are playing a part if he wants to talk stress speak his language… A language he prolly doesn’t even fuckn understand cause he is a dumb ass…

Sorry bro but I kinda had a feeling he was going to do this and I don’t know what to say…

I fucking hate this doctor so much. I’m contemplating on just waiting until I get back to Cali to find someone who’s more competent than this pos (but that will be a very long time as opposed to if I just badger my doctor now to do his job), unless I should go back to his office telling him of these tests which will force his hand, but it’d be awkward since he sorta tried to conclude it as it is.

What am I looking for in the tsi and rt3 test and what do you think the rt3 will show? As well as the ultrasound? Also, what particular tests/treatment would I be requesting with him for the adrenals? This whole ordeal with incompetent endocrinologists is extremely stressing and frustrating to deal with. But I know it will pay off.

I know this is probably hard for you to keep up with considering I have a dumbass Endo, but I do appreciate it and I will do anything to rid myself of these shitty symptoms that have plagued me.
