Wanted to hit the football bar but someone was using it so close gripped and a little slingshot. Some light dual cable rows, pull ups and light incline db press.

Hit a new Max Deadlift plus bands. Top single was 640 straight weight but with band tension came to 680 off the floor and 750 at lockout.

Some light split squats which suck but noticing when I get tired my squat tilts to the right.
Almost broke the 400 bench mark. Worked up to a new 1 rm then got talked into attempting 400. My music was giving me all kinds of problems and missed the lift a few inches off my chest. But it’s there on a good day for sure. Will have this and the banded Deadlifts in a video soon.

Hit paused squat triples again today. And just some light accessory work. Few sets of ghr and some split which really suck and I’m terrible at them. Still feeling strong on the main lifts and could have had a 4th rep on the last paused set but going to save it and go heavier next time.

Took today off unless my girl leaves early enough for me to hit the gym. Having a problem loading a video to YouTube so until I can get that figured out you won’t get to see the big Deadlift and bench. Hopefully I’ll have it fixed by tomorrow.

There’s a lot of discussion on whether or not reverse bands help raw squatting at all or not. Hav you personally seen a lot from them or is it just another movement you cycle in? Also congrats on our recent PRs dude. That banded dead looked super clean and easy.
Thanks it looked easier than it felt. I think the reverse band squats help me by feeling heavy weight and being able to move it while not at my strongest. Since I squatted after pulling heavy. But when I’m fresh I prefer straight weight.

Some heavy tng close grip bench, db press, barbell rows and slingshot today. Weight moved great but I had to use a shitty chrome bar and they have a terrible feel to them. Pr on close grip for a double and single.

Big day for me with squats. Hit my best ever set of 4 by 15-20lbs, same weight as the set I hit for a 3rep pr and had my nose bleed a few months back. And then a solid single at 545 that moved well. I think my squat could go 570-575 right now on a good day. Pulled on a stiff bar from a deficit after that and a few sets of spilt squats. Body weight was heavy yesterday 195 but sitting at 192 today.
