I know everyone is strongly against the use of steroids and prohromones in teens but i do strongly feel i am different. i have done a lot of research into pro hormone cycles but still feel i could learn more before i step into my first cycle. i have been training hard for 4 years ( yeah i started quite young as i followed my older brother) . i truly love every aspect of bodybuilding and i feel that i will soon be ready to take my step into the world of anabolics, i have thought about running 4 weeks on epistane (20,20,30,30) i would run some otc cycle support (milk thistle and a all in one support) and then for pct using nolvadex for 4 weeks (20,20,10,10)
Any advice or feedback would be great, whether it is positive or negative or i do not mind as i wish to learn as much as possible.
regards

Abstract
This article is part of a Special Issue “Puberty and Adolescence”. Puberty is a critical period for brain maturation that is highly dependent on gonadal sex hormones. Modifications in the gonadal steroid environment, via the use of anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS), have been shown to affect brain development and behavior. Studies in both humans and animal models indicate that AAS exposure during adolescence alters normal brain remodeling, including structural changes and neurotransmitter function. The most commonly reported behavioral effect is an increase in aggression. Evidence has been presented to identify factors that influence the effect of AAS on the expression of aggression. The chemical composition of the AAS plays a major role in determining whether aggression is displayed, with testosterone being the most effective. The hormonal context, the environmental context, physical provocation and the perceived threat during the social encounter have all been found to influence the expression of aggression and sexual behavior. All of these factors point toward an altered behavioral state that includes an increased readiness to respond to a social encounter with heightened vigilance and enhanced motivation. This AAS-induced state may be defined as emboldenment. The evidence suggests that the use of AAS during this critical period of development may increase the risk for maladaptive behaviors along with neurological disorders.
Please dont juice…at 17 you can add lots of nice size & strength naturally. Just do more research on solid eating & lifting programs. No reason to mess with your hormones at this point.
thanks for all the responses, i’ll take the advice on board and i will reconsider them in a few years, i do truly have a passion for the sport but i do not want to make a immature decision which could potentially affect me for the rest of my life as I’m sure i would regret it. very grateful for the informative responses though, rather than just getting flamed which i was worried would happen!
Even at 23, coming up on 24, I feel like I may have been a little too young to use aas, specifically testosterone. You never know what small issues you may run into and the possible long term effects. So far I’m lucky to not have experienced anything major, but its a gamble with your health and normal hormonal function. You don’t wanna be that guy whos 18-19 with an okay body and non functioning dick. Not saying that its gonna happen, but it can and has happened.

Very mature response for your age. You have my respect for that. Come back to us when you are older and we will help you get yourself on the right track. Just keep busting ass and learning until then.
