Yes. And I mean that literally.
I know you do man, I know.
I can tell you for damn sure who he Doesnāt say that to! That would get your ass Beaā¦
Doh!
You really donāt know. It went over your head.
Sure it did man, sure it did.
Read a bit of the article. The part where I stopped is where it suggested Native Americans are becoming Trump voters. Maybe a couple of them, but like 2% (unless my experience with the natives is a completely one off thing). I think only like 10% of natives vote, and on average they are very blue. The author lost credibility at that point.
Maybe I interpreted it incorrectly as the writing is quite poor, IMO.
Yes, the concept of Magna Grecia was alive and well, and they were aware of their common identity despite trying to kill each other most of the time.
If you read Greek and Latin literature youāll notice that what we call āraceā or skin tone is never mentioned, except for two groups - white barbarians (Gauls, Germans and later Britons) and black Nubians.
It seems that in the coastal areas of the Mediterranean basin people looked more or less the same - think modern day Sicilians or Lebanese Christians .
Sorry, nice try, but Iām not going to explain it to you.
And their concept of race is more like our concept of ethnicity or breed.
Why would I? I have never said that nor does the article.
Yes you did.
Are people just getting stupider every year? Do you know the website you found that article on? Do you know the author? Did you even read the article? If you say yes, and mean it, then you are a dope.
Hereās a quote: " we attribute the continued racial distinctiveness of African-Americansāsuch as their low average wealth and test scores and their high average crime ratesāto the Peculiar Institution in order that white Americans be blamed, demoralized, divided, and exploited.
Yet, all over the world, sub-Saharan African communities tend to share somewhat similar characteristics. For example, Melbourne, Australia, of all places, now has a black crime problem."
You are truly an idiot.
No, he didnāt. The article does state that. You either didnāt read it or are a complete moron.
āIn truth, Native Americans, with their problems, their introversion, and their masculine patriotism, are now considered kind of boring and, worse, potential Trump voters.ā
As I said the writing was quite poor, IMO. I donāt even know why being āboringā was brought up.
I donāt think the left has much to worry about in regards with the natives voting GOP. Maybe, about as much concern as black voters voting GOP when Obama was running.
I linked the article. That quote does not say they are inferior.
Potential voters does not mean they are becoming.
It means the left fears that they are becoming trump voters, due to the traits listed.
To me that is a stretch. I really do not think there is much fear of natives swinging for the GOP. I donāt think I saw any trump signs last time I was on the res, but Bernie signs are everywhere, and this was in South Dakota.
And did he provide a source for this? No.
A claim of that sort does require a source, IMO because it is so contrary to everything I have experienced.
I couldnāt get past it referring to itself as āCultural Caviarā without thinking of the really nasty porn definition/use.
