Yup and this covers 100% of cases…do people never lose their jobs? No catastrophic medical expenses that force someone out? Condoms breaking? Those damn irresponsible teenagers and their loose condom wearing morals.

Fuck I am pissed at myself for making it 13 pages through this thread with all the idiotic banter between the circle jerk crowd without blowing a gasket. Fuck you.
Yes, people lose their jobs. Yes, medical expenses can be high. Yes, condoms can break(barring being infertile, only an idiot would have sex without acknowledging the possibility it can lead to pregnancy).

What about any of those situations makes anyone else responsible for it?

I understand you probably have a theocratic vision for this country, but this country was set up to avoid that.
VTBalla34 wrote:
Do you really believe, in your heart of hearts, that a public education in this country (through the high school level) involves indoctrination into some neo-liberal statist belief system? Hell even college for that matter. I have heard this nonsense spewed quite a bit in the past year, which not only makes it pretty obvious that you are not capable of having an original thought of your own, but that you are drinking some sort of kool-aid. that must be some good shit. Spewing about indoctrination while you are holding a big ass pitcher of the red shit…lol
Yes.

If I’m drinking some sort of Kool-Aid, then it’s been made for a lot longer than a year because I heard socialist crap and knew that’s what it was from at least high school on(approximately a decade ago). It was always obvious to me that people own themselves, as I’m sure it was to you at one point.

*Edit: saying the pledge every morning=enough said regarding indoctrination

Oh my , did I make a faux pas ?

offering book recommendations when asked for them is now indoctrination huh?

Please post this fucking budget that you won’t shut the hell up about. Frankly, I think you are full of shit…
While I think I understand and agree with your article , you do realize that you and I may not see the same things in the said article

My intention was never to discuss theory . I find that the Bean counters in this forum just love flipping the discussion in to a discussion about accounting ,then they are sure to win

I think accounting and economics have their place in discussing the economy of America . But a degree is not necessary to understand a good bit of what is going on.

Then you should refrain from making foolish statements like the one that initiated this particular exchange.

Seeing as I haven’t brought up debits, credits, audit or taxation at all here, this is empty nonsense.

Good work

Lol, that is good. I’m glad you understand a basic knowledge of economics is needed to have an intelligent conversation about an economy.

Based on most of the posts you’ve made here, I’m starting to think that yes, one does in fact have to have some time of study on a topic in order to speak about it in any sort of intelligent way.

But… Carry on not making sense. Your volition.

Maybe you need to go back and read some of your posts  And if I read that article correct it said Economics is basically worthless because every one had a different point of view

Holy shit sounds like you and me

Seeing the beginning of this exchange started with USMC (AN ACCOUNTANT I BELIEVE) either misquoted or I misspoke about economic theory . I will go back and pull up the post and see if I misspoke or USMC misquoted

Anyone’s opinion really.
I have read quite a bit from him and watched several videos . I know there are different brands of economics and there should not be . I know there are more economists that are republican but I reason that to be they are acting in their best interest . Kind of like they accuse the Scientist of doing with global warming

You think there should only be 1 economic theory? Which one?

How do you know more economist’s are republican than democrat?

So it was USMC that dragged in the term economic theory . I do however think there are many economists that are biased and that is what I was addressing . I think if they are putting out economic policy they should be as unbiased as possible
pittbulll wrote:

Yes, god forbid he try and use an actual term “theory”, I mean your use of “brand” was so much more academic.

I believe the term you are both looking for is model however.

So brands of economics doesn’t =/= economic theories (or models)? Really??

@ beans , I originally was impressed by your credentials but your bias quashed that
