10 Miles Back Again

That’s what I say when people ask me my body type.

That might interfere with your ability to train like pwn. Of course, I’ve never drank, so just a hypothesis :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

For all you know, pwn is drunk 24/7.

Maybe, but I vaguely recall a couple of posts where he explicitly stated his lack of alcohol consumption, and pwn doesn’t seem like the type to lie.
If he was he wouldn’t take videos of his lifts :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

For all you know, he takes videos off the internet of some random stranger and posts them pretending that they are of himself. While insanely drunk.

I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I figure if even I can get a 3x bodyweight deadlift, there’s no telling what people like pwn who actually train can achieve :joy::joy:

I don’t even remember what the original point we were making was, so I will just go along with what you said.

I will have you know that I need no drugs, as I am high on life.

Or, at least, I was. Until I developed a tolerance.

I used to seize the day. Now I have to seize 2 or 3 just to feel normal.

That’s how they get you, it’s a slippery slope.

Life is basically a gateway drug. To beer.

Why do I feel that @T3hPwnisher could turn anything into a drug…

I genuinely don’t know. It’s an odd sentiment.

Yes, they can. I’m hoping to adapt to them someday.

I’ve read a lot of @T3hPwnisher work and he seems to have skimmed over his meth lab sideline completely.

“Methical Strength”

Work for today:
Squat:
5 x 70kg
5 x 80kg
5 x 90kg
5 x 100kg
5 x 110kg
5 x 115kg

Supplemental giant set (5 rounds):
5 x paused squat (FSL)
8 x jump squat (16kg)
8 x back extensions (+8kg)

Accessory giant set (3 rounds):
15 x RDL (70kg)
10 x leg raises (captains chair)
20 x walking lunges
20 x air squats

Conditioning:
~ 30m broad jump burpees

Notes:

  • Forgot to adjust belt, silly man.
  • Top set was pretty smooth and happy.
  • Based this entirely on Brian Alsruhe linear progression style of workout. Few modifications: swapped abs out for lower back as I usually do ab work outside of “gym hours”. Moved jump squats to after main squat sets after the first few goes around, I seem to find them more difficult then.

That’s like an all time world record, nice job.

That’s what happens when you eat your shreddies

Are the giant sets done in a circut?

It’s done as a circuit, but with a rest after each round. I also don’t force the pace between exercises like I would in a circuit, I just don’t stop moving. I still aim to execute the movement precisely because its primarily strength/hypertrophy focussed.
