10 Miles Back Again

Whenever I lose my way, this, in turn, is the way back. You’ve picked a solid path here.

Just don’t try to do it for a 1000 reps like @T3hPwnisher does :joy::joy:

@simo74 maybe across a 6 week cycle

@T3hPwnisher that lesson seems to have sunk in. Thank you

So, a bare bones plan has formed:

Accessories: Triceps, shoulders, back

Clean and Press day:
Clean and Press (Spinal Tap)
Paused Front Squat 5 x 5 SSL
Accessories: Back, Core, Quads

Squat Day:
Front squat: 531
Back Squat: 20 repper
Accessories: Quads, Core, Biceps

Log Clean and Press day:
Log clean and press 531 BBB FSL Malcolm X style
Accessories: Triceps, Shoulders, Back

Daily Work:
Daily Dose Deadlifts
Pull ups

Conditioning (1-2 sessions a week):
Barbell complexes
Loaded carries

Cardio (1 session a week):
Running

Climbing (1 session most weeks)

You will be doing some kind of pull-ups and deadlift 4x a week? I like where this is going

Probably 6 times, yes.

You already finished Morning Star?

I’ve done 1.5 cycles. I’ll finish my current cycle once this plague passes, which should be about time to hit the actual gym with access to toys

Wow, that is a loft of deadlifting. If you are not careful, you will end up becoming large and strong

Ambitious program, like it.

God forbid.

Its actually not a lot of deadlifting. 5 singles every day, mostly at 75% It just looks like a lot because of the high frequency

Wait, what? Kinda like the sound of that, for, you know, when I have a gym to go to. Only I don’t know the plan or anything.

Google “daily dose deadlifts” on the strongfirst website. I highly doubt I’d be allowed to link.

I believe @Frank_C and @ChickenLittle both have some experience with it.

Don’t actually remember how, but I think I screwed this up royally the last time I tried it. I think I was close to the finished line but bailed.

But now that you mention it… maybe I need to have another go at it.

Yes, you do. I ran it last year building back up to a 500 lb deadlift. I ran it again but bailed about 1/3 of the way through to run the SGSS protocol.

And that is just 5 singles or something?

Yep. Read the program on SteongFirst for more details.

I love this idea and may have to copy after I complete my non-program

You own a log? Or your gym happens to have one? Kinda niche

And I love this. Would be so much more fun than running, and I’d look forward to It instead of dread. Looking forward to seeing what complexes you adopt.

It’s just easier for everyone if you just tell me the exact breakdown of percentages and sets. Seems like so much effort to have to go to another site and find out for myself, nobody wins in that situation.

3 to 5 singles each day depending on how you feel. You do deads 5 out of 7 days a week and you get to choose which days.

Days 1-6 on the chart really means training sessions so days 6-10 (including session 7 with 80%) would be done in week two. It’s 42 training sessions but should take a little more than 8 weeks.

See, Dagill could learn a thing or two from your service-minded approach to posting.

Sounds kinda…easy…but I guess the accumulation gets you in the end.
