Congrats on the PR!

I wrecked my new headphones last week. Now I am back to the old floppy pair. Apparently they weren’t cofffee proof.

Design flaw right here.

Hard to be mad though, I guess?

Pain in the ass would be more accurate, but also very cute.

I completely understand this.

The real question is… did you use the belt on the PR?

It was 50kg, what do you think?

No, but it could have been 60 if you would have used the damn belt

I’ll start using a belt for the heavier stuff, if I remember.

Or 13/14 reps

Would adding the belt make me stronger? Or just better?

Stronger. Your form won’t change much. The idea is to use the belt snd get more reps/ weight in on your work sets. That will lead to a greater adaption. That will lead to bigger muscles and more strength.

I am not an advocate of using a belt too much but if you want to make a push for something, it’s a tool you should use. I haven’t used mine since my comp but I also haven’t hit any big weights or tried to do anything remotely maximal in either weight or reps. After a few weeks I will add it back in
