That’s the grossest thing you ever did?? I actually eat that on a fairly regular basis. Few slices of fresh tomato and cucumber (if you really want something good, http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Fire-and-Ice-Salad/) and some brown rice and you are good to go.

well, in terms of food, yup. Feel dirty just thinking about it. I was cutting at the time so I was taking tupperware boxes to work of boiled chicken breast and broccoli, with a drizzling of olive oil.
Dry, chewy, horrible. Fastest way of cooking it though and when it’s late at night and you’ve tomorrow’s lunch to prepare then speed is all I care about.
Steaming chicken breast is so much better. If you don’t have a steamer, you can use a strainer in a pot, with the lid inside the strainer.

Bingo. People think im sick in the head cause I have steamed all my chicken for the past 4 years.

I like that you thought this up and still went for it instead of dismissing it as crazy talk.
When I first started taking fish oil, I drizzled it over my eggs. That was a good way to get me off eggs for a while.

Infinitely better.

takes longer though, my rationale behind boiling was just to get that shit cooked fast.

Would you please take the time to prepare some decent meals in advance.
I know, the logistics involved are almost insurmountable, but you would be eating something not resembling the taste and consistency of a rubber duck?
Today I had an omelette that I folded in half and loaded with tuna and onions and a little bit of cheese and put in the oven for 10 minutes.
And a greek salad, also with tuna and olives and goat cheese and peppers and tomatoes and onions.
Barbarians.

I cooked tuna steaks with some peppercorns and cayenne and made the fire and ice salad I mentioned on the previous page. This morning was two egg sandwiches because it was fast but still awesome. Boiled chicken is just really easy if I forget to prepare something and don’t feel like dragging the George Foreman out.

Mate, I am the best cook on the planet! Seriously, it’s like my second best skill. The boiled chicken was purely because it was 2am and I needed to prepare my tupperware lunch for the next day, so I just boiled up some chicken and chucked it in a tub.
It’s only because I am such a good cook, that I feel such guilt at having done so.

For dinner today I placed a pound of ground beef on a pan and cooked it till I got bored and then poured steak sauce on it and ate it. That’s a lot more work than I usually put into my meals.
I’m having curried tuna burgers for lunch.

I laughed my ass off reading this.

Fortune is, after all, said to favor the bold.
I love eggs, but they can be ruined very easily for me. Fish oil would do this quickly.
When I lived in Europe, I was more than once served eggs with pork brain and tuna. I’m pretty good about most foods, but interplay of the three consistencies…I’m on the verge of gagging right now, just from thinking about it.
I don’t get it, why is the debate between steaming or boiling chicken? I typically grill all my chicken.

we’re going for miles per hour here. Boiling is fastest.
If Im not just trying to quickly turn raw chicken into cooked chicken, I generally eat all my chicken in chicken thigh curry form.
For all y’all who cook with the breasts and not the thighs, I pity you.

Sorry but unless you are a medical resident or working 3 jobs.
There is NO FUCKING reason to eat boiled chicken.
No way any of you are that busy.

Too busy? No. Too stoned and lazy at 2am to be bothered to cook something properly to bring to work with you the next day? Absolutely.
