Yukio Mishima

Well, my last day of summer session was a couple weeks ago, and I indulged my long time desire to read some Mishima. I got Patriotism, Silk and Insight, Acts of Worship, Sun and Steel, Confessions of a Mask and Temple of Dawn, as well as Kawabate’s First Snow on Mount Fuji.

I’ve read the first three, half the fourth and only started the last two by Mishima. I’ve yet to open the Kawabate.

I loved Patriotism and only wish I could read it in Japanese.

Silk and Insight was a solid read as well, possibly my favorite so far.

Acts of Worship is a collection of short stories and I found them to be diverse and entertaining reads.

Anybody want to discuss these titles or Mishima himself?
