Two miles? That’s what, about 11,000 feet? Not one of them has thought of flying an airplane up there and confirming?

Ooops. I just did some checking, and it turns out I was wrong about the supposed height of the dome of heaven.

According to Samuel Rowbotham, who founded the society in the 19th century, the Dome of Heaven is a few hundred miles above the earth. However, some modern day society members, being more liberal in their flat-earth beliefs, have revised this estimate upwards to around 4 thousand miles.

And the sun and moon are thirty-two miles in diameter, not thirty-five, as I had previously stated.

I know, this all sounds utterly cockamamie, but look it up in the Bible:

The earth is a flat disc (Isaiah 40:22 and 42:5; Proverbs 8:27) resting on a foundation or pillars (Job 9:6) and covered by the dome of the sky, which is as strong as a metal mirror (Job 37:18). It has four corners (Isaiah 11:12; Ezekiel 7:2; Job 37:3, and 38:13) and an edge (Isaiah 24:36) or ends (Isaiah 40:8; Job 28:4; Psalms 48:11; Jeremiah 6:22 and 25:32), and is surrounded by the ocean (Psalms 24:2 and 136:6). It also has a center or navel (Ezekiel 38.12), which is of course in Jerusalem.

The proof is all there!!

Definitely a case for “Fully Informed Juries” in the event that a district attorney decides to prosecute a case with these circumstances. How many of you know what I’m talking about and do you agree in an instance like this one?[/quote]

I had to google the term “fully informed jury” but the concept of jury nullification is one I’m familiar with. And yes, I agree that this is just about the perfect circumstances for a jury to decide in contradiction to the letter of the law. Although, if it were up to me they wouldn’t have to.

There should be a law stating that if you’ve walked on the moon, and someone calls you a liar and a coward, you have the right, nay, the obligation, to knock their head off with a good right cross. I think I’m going to send that idea to miller lite for their man law commercials.

(AP) An American tourist who watched as a U.S. military veteran in his 70s used his bare hands to kill an armed assailant in Costa Rica said she thought the attempted robbery was a joke _ until the masked attacker held a gun to her head.

“I thought it was a skit. But then he pointed the gun at my head and grabbed me by the throat and I thought I was going to die,” Clova Adams, 54, told The Associated Press by telephone Friday from the Carnival Liberty cruise ship."

Yeah, there is a lot of controversy as to it was all just a made up lie to make the States look better then Russia. I don’t know what I believe or don’t believe anymore. All I know is that reporter should have been going to bother the people at NASA, not Buzz.

If it were true that the Americans made it all up, Buzz is a very small piece of that conspiracy. Nasa is definitely where this guy should have gone. Though security would probably punch his lights out too. HAHA
