So I just finished reading a thread there and some dude was wondering about whether or not he should eat a cookie or two at an office party!
My stance on Indulgence food is clear, not every day off, but say, one in 4 is deserved and should be done for general well being.
So, with that said whats the favourite thing you like to munch on guilt free?
Me myself!? I’m a sucker for Ben & Jerrys Cookie Dough…and If I’m really feeling like a fat shit I’ll go all out, bake some home made muffins, put two of 'em in the oven and two dollops of vanlla ice cream and your set!
Hugely Satisfying!![/quote]
Lol ya that would be me! I had a plate of cookies and brownies sitting in front of me all day and ended up giving them away to an afternoon shift guy at the end of the day. I really wouldn’t have cared if it had just been a cookie or two. Although my question was more about minimizing the impact of poor food choices(I just happened to have an example).
However here are my favorite indulgences:
Chinese buffets: the more deep fried and sweeter the sauce the better. Sesame chicken makes me drool.
Potato’s and onion rings: fries, hash browns, whatever. Even better with a tub of ranch dressing!
Cheesecake: tops my list of desserts but I love all sweets.
However I have noticed that lately I’ve been getting food hangovers from stuff like this on a cheat meal and got seriously sick last weekend after a particularly bad binge of onion rings and ranch dressing with a bacon cheeseburger so I don’t crave this stuff as much if I feel like crap afterwards.
