When i get my LH FSH + Reverse T3 results i will add them to this thread.

you got the wrong estradiol test. you need the one that has a range like 5 to 40 or something like that. the <150 test is too variable.

a Reverse T3 reading would help, as would 8am Cortisol, VitD25-OH, B12, etc. sounds like a possible adrenal issue. a 4 times a day saliva cortisol test would be ideal if you can afford it or find it.

Testosterone doesn’t look horrible compared to others.

Thats the E2 test they do in the UK, ive had 2 tests actually, a general one and one was done on the proper male test and it came back at 149. They also dont do Rt3 over here unfortunately :frowning:

I got a 4x Saliva Cortisol test in the post today so i will post up the results at a later date.

Ill take some readings, under the arm or in the mouth though?

doesn’t really matter, but aren’t you suppose to add a degree to the readings if doing it under the arm (possibly)?

Woke up: 35.2C / 95.4 F
3 hours later: 35.9 / 96.62 F
another 3 hours: 36.7 / 98.06 F

Taken under the tounge following this guide
http://www.thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/pages/diagnosis/barnes.html

95.4 is pretty darn low and seem to support Thyroid issues. a Reverse T3 test along with Free T3 could confirm.

Ive started a 2 week log of temperatures and ive had results slightly lower than 95.4.
Ive ordered a bunch of tests including tests for Adrenals, another full thyroid panel complete with RT3 + most of the recommended labs in the sticky.

Main post updated.

Bump

If you keep going back and editing the main post, how are we supposed to keep track of where you’ve been and what the changes are? We’re smart, but I doubt any of us have an eidetic memory…this stuff is not to be evaluated in a snapshot–it is a continuing ongoing story.

Your right, sorry Balla.

REVERSE T3 0.34 ug/l (0.09 - 0.35)

24 hr Urine Volume 2.385 Litres
Urine Zinc *0.12 mg/24h (0.15 - 0.80)

anyone?

im not as knowledgeable as vtballa or purechance, but looking at your symptoms and test numbers, it looks like a case of adrenal fatigue. take a look at these articles and see if your symptoms match up.

The Test
Answer yes or no to the following:

You spend every morning in a “fog” and just can’t seem to wake up without excess caffeine.

You frequently feel overwhelmed.

You have trouble falling or staying asleep at night.

You feel unusually cranky, emotional, or frustrated.

You’re lethargic most of the day.

When you get sick it takes a long time to recover.

I am actually taking an Adrenal supplement right now called Nutri-Adrenal Extra but its simply not helping me and i guess my still low and unstable temps prove that.

that looks like a decent product because it contains adrenal extracts, but there are no adaptogens. you want things like rhodiola, ashwagandha, and siberian ginseng. these will normalize your cortisol into the proper range. you also want licorice root because it extends the half life of the cortisol your body already makes. this will help you have more energy in the mornings.

your cortisol is low all day and then high at night, exactly how mine is, so im assuming you have trouble falling asleep at night. the adaptogens will raise it during the day, giving you more energy, and lower it at night, so you can sleep.

you also want to make sure youre getting a decent multivitamin that provides a good dose of iodine and selenium, which are important for adrenal and thyroid function.
