Yea Religious Freedom

Folks who favor abortion on demand are RACISTS. It’s actually a plot for the genocide of people of color. Look at the stats! Since it became legal, we have aborted how many black babies. These liberals are RACIST.

That would be like charging the doctor that did your appendectomy with attempted murder [/quote]

The assailant would have to have uncanny timing if his assault killed a zygote, which is not a mass of cells, but a single cell resulting in the fusion of sperm and ovum.

Identical, in fact, to a fertilised chicken egg.

Here is a thought experiment for you, Pitt.

You have thirty chickens, each of which has just laid an egg.

You take these thirty eggs and place them in an incubator.

Every day for thirty days, you take one of the eggs out of the incubator and smash it.

Given that an average chicken egg will hatch in about thirty days, and assuming that all thirty eggs would have hatched had you not taken them out and smashed them, at what point in the thirty days would you consider that you are killing chickens, rather than just smashing eggs?

No, it wouldn’t be like that. An appendix is definitely just a part of the body.

There is no doubt that a fetus is a separate human being. A doctor is allowed to take the life of that human, with the permission of its mother. In the case of an abortion, an unborn child is legally viewed as the property of its mother.

Charging one with murder for the killing of an unborn baby during the commission of an assault on its mother is totally inconsistent in a state that allows abortion. The offender should be charged with property damage(if there was intent to harm the child), and the mother should be able to sue for the damage to her property.

Assuming that is a response to my post…do you believe that a state which sanctions abortion should punish its citizens for killing an unborn baby? Does that make sense to you?

If an unborn child is going to be treated as property, it should be treated as property. The state should not be permitted to sanction the murder of unborn children in some instances, while it dishes out punishment for the killing(maybe not even intentional, in the case of an assault on its mother!) of unborn children in others.
