Xyosted (Testosterone E Autoinjector)

Xyosted is definitely the safest and easiest to use and gives you the best compliance level-wise. If you want to roll your own dosage or do IM shots vs a quick Subq prick that’s your choice but if your insurance pays for it I’d go with Xyosted.

Care to explain why?

Well for one you’re never exposed to the extremely thin needle which goes only skin deep. It’s like an epipen and it takes 30 seconds. It’s designed to keep your levels steady and compliance in the sutdies has been very high in the 90%+ range. So you or your insurance is paying for the auto injector tech, ease of use and excellent PK profile. If you don’t want to IM injections yourself and are covered why wouldn’t you want to try it. Some want total control or higher (or different from the 3 offered) dosages and that’s fine. But I wouldn’t call it very expensive. You don’t have to use an epipen with auto injector either, you can go with a (much cheaper) syringe. Hardly anybody outside hospital settings does that though because it requires skilled personal and is riskier.

What about it can’t be done with a normal insulin syringe? In the words of Mr Wonderful from Sharktank “It’s a solution in search of a problem”.

Also, let Xyosted know I’ll happily change my post to pro-autoinjector if they pay me as much as they paid you.

I’m in the medical field but not paid by anyone. It would be nice to get paid for this. Just use a syringe then nobody is forcing people to use or try the subq AI tech.

I’m in the medical sales field. I’ve seen Xyosted’s booths. Seems like a great way to charge insurance a lot more and in turn make insurance charge everyone a lot more.

It is the best tech out there. For the same reason epipens all have auto injectors. Of course if you know what you’re doing or have one of the rare MD offices that offer IM shots nearby for your drug then you may not need it. Also insurances don’t cover products that cannot lower their costs. For them the reason is simple, patients who had to come in for visits regularly for IM shots and those who fall out of compliance wrt their levels now dosen themselves at home at their comfort. That saves a lot of Doctor visits (and thus insurance payments) and unclogs MDs offices.
