Wolverine Movie

That still isn’t enough to convince me that it will be any better than X3. Sure, Gambit is in it and that is cool as fuck, but look at the way Nightcrawler was utilized in X2, and Beast for that matter in X3, he will be a cameo at best and probably won’t even be a fucking cajun.

Wol brought up a pretty damn good point in Sabertooth being a midget.

They need to just do a big ass fucking X-Men animated movie with Apocalypse and call it a day.

Am I the only person that overall liked X3?

The trailer looked good. But depending on how they play it, it could be very good or very bad. The movies Elektra and Daredevil come to mind, i.e very bad.

I really hope they show Wolverine’s rampage through the Weapon X facility in all its brutal glory, or close to it, as they did in the comic.

I also saw for a brief second what appeared to be a young James Howlett, so they are staying somewhat close to comic continuity.

Only time will tell.

So this is coming out in like 9 months?

It’s due for release on May 1st, 2009.

oohhh…I totally missed deadpool the first time round, saw with his dual katanas on watching it again. Is that the blob I see too?

I saw this too. Perhaps Rose will make an appearance. And Dog?

Yep, it looks like Blob and a few others will be in it. Some of the mutants I see listed I’m not sure if they are new or not.

I am in awe at what they are coming back with. Even more, it’s cool that Stan Lee is being allowed that much freedom in the process. The man must feel like a living legend right now.

I liked the way it looked and I liked the acting, but they screwed over so many characters by just tossing them all together like that. X-Men 2 is still the one I consider the best.

I think Stan Lee is getting due credit right now for his works in the past. Not that he didnt get any before, but with so much technology and computer graphics, he can see his creativity manifested into real life cinema. Congrats to him, he really deserves it and must be smiling big.

Really? I think they ruined X-3 with the corny dialog.
I agree that X-2 was the best of the three though.

Agreed. They just didn’t develop any of the new characters. I was initially very excited that Colossus was going to be in it, but he had what, one or two lines of dialog. Maybe 10 minutes of total screen time, if that. The other new characters were similarly just thrown in there.

One of the reasons Alan Cumming didn’t come back as Nightcrawler was his part was so minimal in X3 that he didn’t feel like dealing with all the long hours in makeup for the character. That’s a shame.

I don’t see why they don’t stop wasting their time on a bitch-ass pussy like Wolverine / Jackman and get someone to play fucking Gambit!

Because Gambit is the most waste of space character Marvel ever created at least he did some good when they made him a horsemen of apocolypse[/quote]

THANK YOU!! Finally, someone who isn’t a Gambit lover.

Look into his eyes and tell me you don’t feel something.

I just saw the vid on this thread and not the actual trailer so there was no sound.

Was the woman supposed to be Snowbird?

From IMDB and Wiki, I think that’s supposed to be Silver Fox.

I feel the urge to have Sabretooth rip his heart out.

I remember watching the X-men series. He was always chasing Rogue and talking shit to Cyclops. Two things I don’t like.

All wanna be “James Dean” characters get on my nerves.
