Wisdom tooth removal

my wisdom teeth are finally coming out in a couple weeks and I’m wondering if there are any painkillers that I need to avoid, as they might affect protein synthesis or have other side effects that might work against me.

Did it last fall. I wouldn’t stess over it. The pain is only bad during the first 24-48 hrs. I’m not sure of the affect of presrip. painkillers though.

There’s no way to tell in advance how much pain you’re going to be in. I ended up getting dry sockets and was miserable for 2 weeks.

I had to actually go in on two separate occasions to have my wisdom teeth removed. The first was you normal in office surgery, the trouble was my body reacted different to the medications. I was given Valium, and two other “downers” and started violently swinging at the doctor. I eventually had to go to the hospital to be sedated by the anasthesiologist. As far as the pain goes, theres nothing to it. I took one painkiller the entire time. Just be sure and have plenty of Grow! on hand. Good luck.

No pain, no swelling. Didnt have any mishaps with food poking the sockets either. Some people have a shocking reaction though.
