Why Attacks on Trump Don't Work

Too bad all the Betas are following about as phony of an Alpha as you can get. Apparently Alpha, for the suckers, is spray tan looking skin, military deferments (while dissing PoWs), and changing your stance every time it’s expedient (as opposed to being principled), and using play-ground level one-liners. The Beta males who are cowardly whipped into a paranoid quivering state over hordes of Mexican rapists and suspiciously Middle-eastern looking folks.

One answer to Mufasa’s original question is many of the attacks on Trump don’t work because look who he is up against.

Can a week go past without scandal news about Hilary Clinton?

Yes Trump’s a blowhard who has been caught reversing himself and saying outlandish things and in any other year would have been laughed out of the race at the primary level. But this year people seem to want an outsider. Apparently regardless of who that outsider is.

And what continues to drive this?

The latest story below regarding the Inspector General claiming Hillary was wrong regarding her emails and the story earlier in the week about Governor Terry McAuliffe Clinton Foundation associate and former head of the DNC being under investigation by the FBI drive the narrative that insiders are corrupt.

As long as these headlines occupy the news Trump is going to continue to get a free ride regardless of almost any stupid comment that comes out of his mouth.

Ya, something tells me your tone and word choice aren’t quite the same in person. I’m also quite sure you don’t call people liars to their face like you do here.

At any rate, it’s not as good as before, but it’ll have to do:

Keep up the good fight Zeb. The dying party of Lincoln needs all the help it can get. If you’re ever in MD look me up, I bet we’d get along just fine in person.

We’d have gotten along fine on T Nation if you hadn’t begun the personal attacks.

Good Luck

I don’t think you understand the point I am making.

Edit: That or you just wanted to repeat your views on Trump

The ol revisionist history, a favorite PWI pastime…

Well, you didn’t ignore me for very long did you?

And there is no revisionist history all one has to do is scroll back to the first time that you challenged a post I jotted off to another member. You began the personal attacks. And you continued with them for several posts before I joined in.

Now run along you have plenty of ignoring to do.

I can still see your posts. It’s not as good a system as the old one.

PWI doesn’t exist in a bubble. We were getting along just fine until you started in on the condescension and the “junior” one-liners in other threads.

As I said, revisionist history, your forte.

I’m actually headed to the gym now, one of my many hobbies…

Then you do not deny that you had begun the personal attacks in this thread. Good we are making progress.

Have a good workout.

Ahhhh

Indeed. This thread has gotten absolutely entertaining in the past two days! I think Zeb may have fallen down the rabbit hole. I don’t know for sure, but it seems to me his postings around 2008 and prior at least gave the appearance of being well adjusted. What happened in the mean time one can only speculate , but it is producing endless moments of entertainment for me.

I sympathize with both you and USMC. I’ll voluntarily take the mantle of “USMC cheerleader” in this fight. Or lackey, I suppose thats the word zeb likes to use. Might as well make him feel comfortable

Sorry, you do not reach the status of lackey you are actually lower than that. You are late to the party and let’s say a “lackey wanna be”. But I would expect as much from you no surprises on my end.

Okay I can no longer support Trump after coming across such hypocrisy. I’m joining Never Trump!

I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.

HA …I said the same thing but my wife reminded me that Trump travels with a private chef and this photo is no doubt just to win over the average guy who actually eats that stuff.

Could he actually be eating it?

Who knows?

The talk of a Ryan endorsement might have been premature.

Amid reports Wednesday — sourced to comments from Trump advisers — that Ryan is moving closer to endorsing Trump, a Ryan spokesperson told me, “There’s no update and we’ve not told the Trump campaign to expect an endorsement.” The Ryan spokesman also rejected the idea that Ryan feels his lack of endorsement of Trump has been harmful to the GOP. “He’s also not told anyone he regrets anything,” the Ryan aide said.

Two other Ryan sources told me Wednesday morning that there was no imminent endorsement of Trump in the works. And Ryan’s office released a video Wednesday that continued to radically contrast his approach to political leadership with Trump’s, though of course there was no mention of Trump’s name in the video.

You’re probably right.

It’s crazy how effective this type of stuff is on certain groups

Question: would you be more surprised if Ryan didn’t endorse Trump or if he did endorse him?

Yeah, if most people realized how manipulated they have been through various means I’m thinking there would be even far lower voter turnout.

Agreed. Like you, USMC is a poster who I like and respect and am always interested in reading, and he and I have disagreed on certain things - but at no point does he become a raging, dishonest douche canoe, nor I to him.

It’s a function of maturity and adequate social skills. Some people are blessed with neither, and it shows up even on Internet forums.

So do disingenuous posts attacking Trump while giving Hillary a free pass claiming you dislike them both When in reality eventually admitting that it would be a good strategic move if Hillary won. No one can see through that TB. And did you ever hate being called on it.

And I find that very entertaining, so thank you.
