I just thought it was funny. As far as lifting goes, I don’t have any idea what he is capable of. I’d like to know, just for the sake of curiousity. I bet half of the people on these forums that talk the most smack can’t bench their bodyweight for mor than a double.
And as far as vroom being a troll - he’s certainly not. Just opinionated like many of us.

Based on what I saw in the “Anti-Muslim Cartoons” thread, vroom just watches or reads or hears way too much corporate news media bullshit, or is otherwise inundated in a toxic information environment. That being, one which rots the brain so that he can’t think more than two diametrically opposed ideas to be possible, though both grant the only substantiality to the other.
This degenerative brain syndrome causes complete confusion at the introduction of any complex reality beyond the PR men’s narrow framing of events, to which sufferers have become accustomed. At such a time as new information is presented, without the guidance of PR masters to re-frame reality, they will resort to parroting the previous meme while repressing new information from their consciousness.
And when the PR men so wish, they will completely change the framing so that two new diametrically opposed ideas arise, and any old ideas are lost with that previous framing to which they were bound.
All of this is building up to what will be known as “the final argument”, by alien anthropologists studying earth a million years hence. In the final argument, one side will have argued that we should kill all life with nuclear weapons, while the other side will have argued equally fervently that we should kill all life with engineered viruses. Nobody will have questioned why we should kill all life in the first place, because that view wasn’t televised nor picked up by the print and radio news agencies.
