Before i disappear again.
I most definitely do not wish to live beyond 60-70.
I wish to live life as full as i can as happily as i can and then check out on my terms.
I know it sounds a bit odd, but i do not wish to live to 80/90/100 thats just to long. If anything it helps me keep focused on doing everything today not putting off till tomorrow.
Checking out is pretty damn simple, death doesn’t scare me i have seen alot of it via working in hospitals. It starts to lose its shock value after a while. What scares me is being in a coma or otherwise in-capacitate d with no way of ending my suffering. THAT scares me, Ireland does not let you choose your own fate, thank you Catholic Church !
Honestly, if you cannot get done in 65 years what you aimed for then 30/40 years ain’t going to help much. It’s your attitude that sucked not lack of time.
I have pretty weird view of the world, i wish never to get married nor ever have kids. Planet is over populated as it is, me adding another person to it isn’t going to help the situation !
As far as i am concerned, life is just a journey on a bus, you step on enjoy the ride and step off. So you had better enjoy the ride while your on it !

When I say “elite” please understand I am only speaking within the framework of a division of labor and not as some sort of universal elite class of people. I do not believe there exists such a class of people. The elite are those individuals within the division of labor who will remain sustainable and thus can indeed live forever.[/quote]
Are you saying that only those that are sustainable – will be able to sustain their own lives indefinitely – are those who will remain sustainable and thus can indeed live forever?
Gee I’m not sure about that. Won’t there be other people? Won’t some of these not be able to?

No, I am saying that only the elite members within the division of labor are capable of remaining sustainable. Those that are not will only be able to sustain their lives at the whim of the elite.
One will still have to work at remaining sustainable. In fact I am not sure I even like that word because it has connotations that are not true. Just because I might be sustainable now – i.e., I do not consume more than I produce – does not necessarily mean that will always be the case. As they say, shit happens.
Oh. The second sentence of the second paragraph had looked like a definition, which I think you had not provided before.
i’m currently trying to live forever.
so far, so good
