Are you aware that the games are sold separately?

LOL!
Yeah Pook, we got him a few of those as well. His friend sometimes comes over and brings his own games… and ends up playing by himself while my son sits across the room on his computer writing songs.

Went without one for 8 years, but when 9/11 happened my wife insisted we get one so she could keep up with the news.

My experience was that when you have a TV you see all these ads for programs and cannot imagine not having a one and missing everything. However, when you get rid of it you find you don’t miss anything.

I don’t have TV, I do watch House online as they come out though

But still, no mindless surfing… if i’m gonna waste time electronically I’d rather be learning online, or playin video games with friends

If I really want to watch an episode of SP or somethin, I’ll just buy one on XBL.
housemdvideos.com

new episodes are usually up the night they air

Got bored of it. I still have my fta receiver with DN and BEV, never watch it. The internet is much more entertaining.

Haven’t had one in decades. When I first met my wife, I noticed a bumper sticker on her truck “Shoot your television.” That was about all it took. It had nothing to do with short skirts and boots.

No TV for this guy …

I’m finishing up my first semester at college, and I’ve basically gone without TV for the entirety of it. Do I miss it, a little. I still watch movies across the hall though, my friend has a TV. I love movies.

for DVD’s only, watch some ATHF or METALOCALYPSE while doing my foam rolling.

but that’s not even everyday.

i have a tv now after not having one for the past 7 years and i’m astounded at how much time i waste with that thing.

and miroku333, hell yes at ATHF and metalocalypse…adult swim is all consuming.

I have a tv, it is an amazing 27" generic tube tv that is almost ten years old. I use it a lot for games and movies and shows on dvd like the simpsons.

There is only a few programs i watched whenever they are new; South Park and Fringe. Other than that i watch ESPN and other sports games.

I see nothing wrong with having a tv as long as it isn’t keeping you from doing things.

I have a TV but I never watch Tv.

If I watch anything its usually a movie and I watch it on my laptop.

I’m glad i don’t watch TV I find it a very big waste of time.

My folks TV packed up about 2 years ago so I gave them mine. They’ve often got my sisters kids staying round after school and whatever so needed something to keep the little blighters entertained for an hour or two. Being honest I don’t miss it at all, and can’t see myself getting one in the near future.

Funnily enough I was in the barbers today chatting away to one of the girlies and she started on about this show or that, and I had to tell her I didn’t know what she was on about as don’t own a TV. She actually stopped what she was doing and glared at me like I had a welly on my head or something!!

I have a TV, but if it werent for the NFL, I probably wouldn’t have it. I dont watch much else.

Occasionally I’ll watch scrubs, the office, or entourage.

No TV for me either… I spend too much time at the computer though, gotta do something about that.

I have a TV, it just doesn’t have anything. Not even basic cable. But it’s nice for times when I have free time, because I can watch Dexter on a big screen.

Saved over a hundred bucks a month getting rid of satellite (all went into buying clean food), and I’m really glad I got rid of it. What a time-waster that thing was.
I’m the same way. I have a nice big TV but no television - I just use it to watch the occasional Dexter dvd, etc. TV is 99 percent garbage these days. Anyone else not have the internet at home (i.e. use a library or work)?

yeah internet is too expensive (you can see why if you reference the money.taboo? thread…)
I can use it at work, so I do.
I go to bed on time since giving up home internet though.
