Who Are Your Favorite Actors?

If there is one thing in this world that should be but can’t, it’s a fight scene between Steve Buscemi and Chris Farley. Not a realistic one, but intended to be comical.

Honestly, how is there no movie starring Keanu Reeves and Nicholas Cage, titled “Woahhh”?

I heard they’re making a sequel to Ad Astra with Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves and Nicholas Cage. It’s going to be called Sad Astra. Because one sad Brad wasn’t sad enough.

Yeah, this thread is so sexist. Look at the percentage of females brought up vs males. /src

  1. Meryl Streep (Lions for Lambs, that awful movie about Margaret Thatcher, and everything else)

  2. Anjelica Huston (The Royal Tennenbaums)

  3. Sharon Stone (Casino)

  4. Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story)

  5. Emma Thompson (Primary Colors, In the Name of The Father)

  6. Kathy Bates (Primary Colors, Misery. She’s pretty amazing in everything else too)

  7. Margot Robbie (Wolf of Wall Street)

  8. Margot Robbie’s Ass in Suicide Squad.

  9. Scarlett Johansson’s voice in Her (Starring Joaquin Phoenix as a beta cuck j/k)

  10. Frances McDormand (Fargo, Burn After Reading, and my personal favorite Sam Raimi flick: Darkman)

  11. Jessica Lange (Cape Fear and everything else)

  12. Joan Chen (Heaven and Earth - The one by Oliver Stone.)

  13. Gong Li (Miami Vice, Great China movies: To Live, Farewell to My Concubine)

  14. Zhang Ziyi (The woo woo scientist chick in Godzilla King of Monsters. She’s a real actress in China but her movies suck. But Memoirs of a Geisha sucked even harder.)

  15. Maggie Cheung (Centerstage, Comrades: Almost a Love Story. Great HK movies.)

P,S I still have a massive hard on for Michelle Pfeiffer

Some of it might be how I titled the thread “Who are your favorite actors?”. I did not include actress in the title, because I have heard the preferred term is actor for both (which makes sense).

Ellen Burstyn is a good actor in my opinion.

I was joking.

I know.

I noticed the pattern as well. Figured I would throw that out to get a few more female actors being mentioned.

I also have loved Joe Lo Truglio in everything he’s been in.

yea man . he’s one of my favorite comedic actors. Such an obscure, yet consistently hilarious guy. Matter of fact, most of the cast from The State and/or Wet Hot American Summer

Anyone mention Robin Williams?

For favorites nothing much to add, basically summed up in the cast of Fightclub and the cast of The Departed.

The drug scene in Wet Hot American Summer is amazing, hahaha.

Also, the movie is played out, but “you guys have MySpace?” will always get a chuckle out of me.

Holy crap, I didn’t even mention the only actor whose death made me genuinely emotional, haha.

I CANNOT STAND Jim Carrey, or for that matter, Adam Sandler. Neither have ever done anything but annoy me. I’ve yet to find anybody who agrees with me though.

Jim Carey is actually pretty good when he’s not playing Jim Carey.

Adam Sandler is not.

You’re young right? People in my age range grew up with these guys … they’re a bit played and old now, but will forever have a special place in our collective hearts
