And with me being white, and him being black, it would give him some first hand experience about “white guilt”.

I think the point that he is getting at there is that guilt has influenced the decision making of our leaders so that we as a nation are not willing to commit the resources to win the war (or any war) decisively. Think of the use of the Atomic bomb. I do not think that ?White Guilt? influences war as much as he claims. I see it more internally. Affirmative action, Illegal Immigration, Hate Crime laws, Racial profiling are all good examples of where this has affected our nation. The race card has been played out. It is my opinion that minorities want preferential treatment not equal.

Affirmative Action - If you are not smart enough to get good grades and get in to college, or the right qualifications to get the job then you don?t deserve it. Would any self respecting person want to get preferential treatment like that? We hired you because we needed to hire a minority to fill a quota, not because you were a good applicant.

Illegal Immigration ? It has nothing to do with your race. It has everything to do with you breaking the law, not being a citizen, send money back home and not paying for the services that you think you deserve. It wouldn?t hurt if you would try to assimilate some of the culture. To all Hispanic and Mexican illegal immigrants we get pissed when we find a container in some ship yard where people from China have entered the US illegally too.

Racial Profiling ? I?m white, late 30s, and I?m a man. That puts me in the profile of serial killer, rapist, and child molester. If one of these criminals is in my neighborhood and profiling helps you catch that person, profile away. I have nothing to worry about. I?m not guilty.
