I don’t find Emilia Clark to be attractive, at all, either. I like Ms. Turner in the role she is in.
That said, with the exception of the psychotic poisoner women (there were two of them pseudo-Spanish/Moorish), few of the women are particularly attractive.
Arya? Ick. I love the character, but she looks like she’s 12. I could have lived my life without seeing her in a love scene.
They killed her dragon and beheaded her most trusted side-kick. She said she was going to burn the place down.
Nobody thought this was out of character a week ago.
Even the going against advice was a long build up requiring several points of failure and in the context of losing the throne.
The actual turn was awesome IMO. I was 100% sure it was going to happen but I had abandoned that by the time it happened.

Daenarys woke up with her hair all a mess and decided everyone needed to die. Very simple.
Best episode yet. Awesome visuals…hoping the whole first half that she’d burn it all down, and did not disappoint.
She deserves the throne, but have a strong feeling the child will kill her next week. Glad I never invested but 8 hours into this series.
This photo aside, she is not attractive in the same way that a porche street car is not fast compared to a Ferrari F1 car.

BTW, if we want examples of quality differences between seasons then the fight between the mountain and the hound is a good place to start.
The Mountain vs The Viper was the minimum a conflict brewing since season 1 needed to produce but that fight on the stairs… now that was dogshit.
Yeah Hound v Brienne was way better than hound v mountain.

I think the main issue people have with this episode is that it was the final scenes for a few people and you knew that. We knew the mountain would die, so it wasn’t as intense but I don’t think that was the point, the point was it to be the last moment, and in that last moment it was a beautiful fight scene. Very epic, very well shot.
I feel like people are resentful that it’s ending, I get that, I think they rushed it, but that episode is not to blame. That episode was really well fucking done in almost every way
My beef with this moment was not on how it was shot, but that it didn’t matter. They were both going to die regardless, as the whole place was coming down. There were no stakes to the battle.
This series has been disappointment for the past couple years.

Agree. The last two episodes scored a 6.1 and a 6.8 on IMDB.
To put that in context, that is well below anything the latest episodes of Orange is the New Black has put out and it is worse than most episodes of the latest Simpsons series has put out (which got the name Zombie Simpsons over 20 years ago becauseit had gotten so bad lol). Those shows are both total rubbish now, yet better than Game of Thrones? Lol
I think there is the expectation aspect in as well. The seasons 1-5 were mostly solid in storytelling. When the quality drops even a little it disappoints people. Same happened with True Detective. The first season was so well pu together that the second average one was labeled as disaster.
The sad thing is that the writers would have gotten more money for at least one more season. They would have time to open up things and character arcs a little more. Now there are a lot of cheap solutions in the story.
PS. And whoever designs these battle strategies… Reminds me of an AI opponent in strategy games.
They’re even dumber than vanilla Total War AI. “Oh we’ve got walls? Best sally out then.”

One good part about the show ending is I will hear less about story and character arcs, plot armour and other such non-sense.
