I’m just going to ignore this Mac vs. PC debate and answer the op.

I’ve had bad experience with both Dell and HP. I had a Sony Vaio laptop and it was nice but it didn’t last very long. I now have a Toshiba laptop and it’s been working great. No problems at all. So I give Toshiba a thumbs up.

Had an Acer laptop for a year now and not had any notable problems, money well spent me thinks.
