Personally I think its good to have the topic come up monthly. If we ever stopped getting this topic it would mean there are no more new lifters and no one else discovering the curse of big legs and ass relative to waist.
My brother works for a western apparel company called Ariat. A year or two ago he sent me a pair of Ariat M3 Athletic and they are by far, hands down my most favorite pair of jeans ever (Mrs. Edge likes them a lot too). Unfortunately, I just got on their site to grab a link and post it but it looks like they don’t sale that exact model anymore. They have other M3’s that are probably worth a shot but I can’t vouch for them.
Side story: The seamstress’s at Ariat seem to think my brother is the perfect “extra large” for shirts so they are constantly dragging him to the back to use him as a fit model. So, my brother can get ANY extra large Ariat shirt whether it be on line, in any store or just out of the warehouse and it’s a custom fit for him.
If only I could be someone’s fit model for jeans. Or, better yet, slacks.
Edit: Brother says M3 Scoundrel Loose is similar to the M3 Athletic.
I’ve seriously considered getting some of these. Some days I just go out in flannel pajamas anyway and having back pockets would be nice. I wish I could try them on instead of shopping online
Call me cheap, but I have an issue with paying over a bill for a pair of jeans.
I used to buy the Levi 569s, they were wide straight leg without looking like I had room for an entire family in each leg. Then they redesigned them and made them low waisted, and they don’t fit as well anymore.
I have decent luck with relaxed straight leg Wranglers from Wal-Mart, but the crotch tends to wear out within a year or so. I also go a size up from what is comfortable, since I carry concealed IWB. The wifey keeps on me to try the ballroom jeans, so I might. $50 plus still seems like too much though, when I am used to paying less than $30.

Good for people who prefer to wear jeans when they squat. No, I don’t have a pair.

Cool. 150 smackers though…
That’s what I thought. More than I usually want to spend for jeans, but the men’s jeans do look good.
No way would I buy the women’s. There are lots of cheaper options with some spandex that look nearly the same, IMO.
Urban Star Jeans. I’m getting them for $15 at Costco.
Features: Classic 5 pocket relaxed fit jeans; Designed and shaped for a comfortable fit; Made of soft washable cotton/spandex denim; YKK zipper; Dark dye may transfer to lighter materials.
Quadasaurous Jeans from GongShow. They’re a little more pricey…
THE STORY
Most hockey players are built with a huge ?hockey ass? and legs that squeeze into pants. Others blow scouts away at the combine with freakish quads that only hours under the rack provide. Featuring the new Quadasaurous jeans.

Has anyone tried the new Levi’s 541s?
I have a pair of 541. They have a really nice butt-thigh fit, but they also stay snug around the calves instead of dangling and waggling around. Really nice stretch too. I still need a belt for the extra around the waist though, so I’m not saying it’ll fit like it was made for you. But it’s a comfortable and good looking fit for sure, probably the one pair of daily wear pants I would feel most comfortable doing squat day in.

I am looking to see if anyone has identified a particular brand of denim jeans that accommodate people who train legs…
May not work, but have you ever shopped at Big & Tall? (I think that is the name of it)
Legs measure 26"-28" in the quad/hamstring again depending on how junky im eating.
36-38" waist, hips are like 44"
I have had great success with the following jeans ranked in order:
Seven Relaxed/ Seven Austyn: Buy the engineered jeans with spandex/polyester combo.
Buffalo Jeans by David Bitton also has a 97% cotton and 3% spandex jean.
Levi’s 541 (up one size)
We lift legs so jeans are actually suppose to be snug on quads, glutes and hammy’s yet they should be comfortable enough to move freely. the Levi’s fit even better the next day, perfect for a work jean, and they are 1% spandex. Im hoping these hold up better as my Sevens always wear down in the crotch and I end up with a rip (however they have given me new jeans with a proof of purchase and a picture of the jeans)
The sevens and the buffalo’s will cost 90+ but for a casual jean to wear out to dinner and nights out, that is what you want. And if you like the feel of the Levi’s I say just go with them as they are significantly cheaper.

I think I’m going to try the ballrooms. Levi’s 569s fit well, but don’t last at all. Ass is blown out or frayed to point of indecency within 6 months, sometimes closer to 3.
The guy that recommended them to me said they are a bit heavier and more durable. If they last twice as long, I’m in.
