And mandatory year-round drug testing.

Jeans never fit right for me because no one makes jeans for large glutes. I ran across this site and you can give all kinds of measurements: makeyourownjeans.com

When i say outfit, i mean it in the most basic, manly form. 2 pieces; something on top, something on bottom

You think YOU have problems with this ^ ?

Ha! Try needing XXL shirts AND being 5’8"!

I am 6’6" 288 - find a tailor for suits and dress shirts and the like, its the only way it will ever look right, there is a Tom James in every town! Otherwise wear a t-shirt and blue jeans every where…yes YOU CAN finds blue jeans to fit you too you just have to look, and when you find a pair that fits, buy them all.

But I digress…fuckingshakeweightplanetfitnessclothesdon’tfit!
I’ve definitely learned that when it comes to blue jeans. I have only found one pair that is good enough to wear to a bar or on a date but still fits perfectly, and you will not find anything but exact replicas in my closet lol.

My main thing is shirts. The last polos i bought fit real nice in the chest and arms, would be great for trying to look sexy while im bouncing, however it barely came down to my waist, looked like i stole my girlfriends shirt. (and i do not wear overly tight clothing either)

I’ll find a XXL that fits ok in chest and shoulders but is baggy as hell in the waist and just looks goofy. Obviously this isnt an issue if im just at home or going to the gym, but i’m tired of always having the same three outfits that fit well for going out with friends and bouncing.

Sounds like the moral of the story is to get the shit adjusted.
you’re worried about shirts for “bouncing”? LOL WTF is wrong with the black XXL t-shirt that says “SECURITY”??? you working a club/bar or are you walking the fucking catwalk??

Im good friends with the owner of the small club i bounce at, when im there im basically drinking and hanging out with everyone else there, its just if someone needs to go i have to make them.

So i’d rather not wear a black “security” shirt or some typical bs, i prefer to dress a little more presentable while i mingle.

I would rather be the guy who always wears a wifebeater in public than the guy who wears affliction tees.

The answers to the closes threads are typically:

A. You don’t have a problem. Quit deluding yourself.

and

B. Find a tailor.
THIS

The only problem are suits, jackets and dress shirts. I wear XXL and I have a 35" waist (true measurement) and I don’t have a problem with shirts fitting. If anything, I’m annoyed that I’m sometimes caught between XL and XXL (I dropped to 225-230) and feel like one is sometimes a tad too big or a tad too small depending on brand/cut.

Dress shirts can easily be tapered by a tailor and most men’s stores offer this service for a few bucks. Dress shirts are purchased by neck/sleeve size and yes, they have your size. I routinely see dress shirts with neck sizes to 20".

I recommend getting jackets and suits bespoken. It’s not THAT much more than off the rack and you’re just not going to get a good fit with a jacket if you’re wide up top and tapered toward the middle - they can only taper so much from the shoulder line down.

If you truly have a shirt that fits like a blouse just get it tapered. There is no place to “shop” that will solve this problem. Even the “drop” on “athletic cut” suits is only about 8" if I recall correctly - that means for example 50" jacket/42" pants.
My athletic cut jacket still needed some tailoring but I had more room across the back then in a standard cut.

I dont know why Affliction gets so much hate.

I buy a lot of Guess brand V necks from Macys which are cut for a muscular mans physique with a good taper. Fit for big arms and chest and no parachute waist at the bottom.

Wasn’t exactly sure where to put this response. Anyway, where do you big guys (i’m talking well above average) buy your underwear? Because of my size, it’s always been difficult for me to find underwear that fit well and look good, but at my current size of 10" X 7" it is damn near impossible to find underwear i like that give me support.

I have to wear boxers in order for it to fit, however these are long as fuck and baggy as hell in the waist.

So can some BIG GUYS give me examples of where they shop? underwear shopping is such an infuriating experience over the last couple years and im ready to just wear a stippers banana thong 24/7 (not really)

If you are less than 9", please dont respond.

If you can’t touch her cervix and have inches in the cold, please dont respond.

Dude simple fucking answer, commando.

Been going commando whether summer or winter for 2 years now and never looking back.

I like golf shirts, you know for actual golfing Arms and shoulders are cut spacious to make room for movement…

I don’t have the taper like you guys have.

Now for the briefs, jockeys… The weight will stretch them out soon enough, then you gotta throw out after they lose support.

Have you tried getting the athletic fit in suits and other type of formal clothing? Im only 5,9" but weigh anywhere from 240 - 250 depending on my fat assery at the time. Always found the athletic cut to be narrower in the midsection and wider in the shoulders and chest and much more comfortable. I think thats the point of the cut.
Matty that’s only an 8" “drop”. If you’ve got my measurements (48-50 jacket and a 34-36" pant) that athletic cut aint gonna cut it.

Standard “drop” on a suit is 6". “Athletic cut” is only another 2".
EDIT

Yeah my Jacket size ranges from 50-52 I believe and my pants are usually 36, it can be daunting for me as well, and my length fucking 30! damn all I wanted to do was make six feet!

But I don’t have any issues buying regular clothes just usually get XL or XXL depending on what store.

LOL @ Affliction t-shirts. Didn’t know that was still “in”.

I’m the last guy to give fashion tips, but I did find a few good fitting t-shirts at Hotbodz website and if you look real hard, you may find a polo or something that does not look like a douche in a club would wear it.

Other than that, if you plan on having a chest over 50" and a waist under 40 you might as well accept that you will have to pay more to look right.

That is why you rarely see guys that big in dress clothes to begin with.

You can bet every suit you saw Ronnie Coleman in cost a good chunk of that posing money.

I mean, you may have some size on you but you by no means look freakish enough to be having that hard a time with shirts.

I also think some people in this thread are being a tad lenient with their waist measurements.
