But if you have compassion you would think to yourself, “what has this person gone through to make them so ungrateful?”

I had just bought a huge lunch to take back to work, when i passed a woman holding a sign on the road, you know the ones… hungry etc…so… i just…gave her my lunch and left. It’s not the first time, i like random acts of kindness. shutupimnotahippy.
Probably the kindest, randommest thing I ever did was at the beach.
I was going for my evening stroll down the pier when I spotted a woman in a wheelchair crying. I felt a connection to her and asked what was wrong.
She explained she just realized she’d never held a man’s hand and it hit her really hard as she sat on the pier watching all the lovers walking by. Without a second’s hesitation, I took her hand in mine.
She started crying even harder. I asked what was the matter now and she explained she knew I was just taking pity on her. I told her she was crazy and she went on about how I didn’t really find her attractive, etc…I swore I did and she said if I did I’d kiss her right there in front of everyone…well…being a kind, giver of random kind acts I kissed her…
She then really started to cry…I was like…sheeesh…what next…she looked up at me and explained she knew there was no way she was ever going to get fucked as she was stuck in a wheelchair and men didn’t like girls like that, etc…so…
I lifted her ever so gently telling her she would never feel that way again…I carried her to the end of the pier…tossed her in the ocean and hollered down that now she was totally fucked.
I put some change in a girls parking meter when the attendant was coming around today. That about covers being nice so I need to go trip someone to balance out.

This is an old one. You need to get some new material.

Watch that. Feeding someone else’s meter can get you a ticket.
I bought ciggs for middle schoolers last night, actually no I didn’t they gave me the money, and I drove away.

About feeding the meters? No, of course not. Depends on the jurisdiction. In DC, it was a misdemeanor as of a couple years ago. I’m pretty sure it still is. They rely on people forgetting about the meters and getting tickets for revenue.
Sometimes i think i’m TOO nice to people!
Did not know that. More reason to be selfish!
I was trying to think of something funny to say here, but it got me thinking. I am nice to older people. It seems that they understand what genuine kindness is. Perhaps it’s because they’re going to die soon or because they come from a different generation, but they tend to appreciate truly appreciate kindness, especially the little things.
Most people nowadays are selfish bastards, which unfortunately makes me one too. I am the most giving person to my friends and family, but I’ll be damned if I give two shits about most anyone else. Thinking about it, this thread about kindness sort of makes me feel like a scumbag.
