When Did Soda Get Expensive?

Fuck soda! The only way I would drink Coca Cola would be if it still had cocaine in it.

At a glance “Creamcicle” looked like “Creamicide” and I was very confused.

I can’t beleive you “fuckers” (I love saying that word) made me log in to dispute this.

NOTHING…I MEAN NOTHING BEATS Diet Cherry Coke Zero with Ice cold Cream Soda coming in a close second and Crack Cocain rounding out the top 3.

You can’t buy alcohol or tobacco with food stamps. I don’t see why you should be able to buy pop with food stamps, no nutritional value whatsoever.
Sure there is, there’s water and sugar which contains calories.

I don’t know how you fellows are, but people have bought this crap for years with food stamps. Cookies, candy, crackers, pretzels etc. you ever see someone on welfare that was thin? I can go on forever, but personal responsibility and accountability aren’t going to be there in someone’s diet if they are to lazy to even get a job.
fat and undernourished…it sucks being poor.

And yarn. What’s the deal with yarn being so expensive now? Heavens to Betsy!
Supply and Demand my good man. I can refer you to a Quilting thread which basically “unraveled” The marketplace if you will. What happened was some guys from a bodybuilding website were bored. Some of them thought it would be funny to play around on a Quilting forum. They made funny usernames and made inside jokes about quilting that were similar to things they would joke about on said bodybuilding forum. For a while this was absolutely hilarious, but then, the real quilters started getting wise to the fact that these new people weren’t quilters at all.

So in the end, many real quilters stopped quilting because they felt wronged by the bodybuilders. Shortly after that, the quilting specialty shops started closing up because no one was making any more quilts and they couldn’t keep the doors open. Well ONE shop survived the starvation period, and as they were the only shop left, they could charge whatever they wanted for yarn. And this my friend is why Yarn prices are so high.

Everybody wanna be a quilter but don’t nobody wanna quilt no heavy-ass blankets.

Have you ever had a cold pepsi or Mt Dew right out of the fridge? If you have, you would not be asking this question.

Look we get it, it’s a bodubuilding site. Drinking a couple sodas a week isn’t going to mean shit to your physique. I burn a soda can worth of calories taking a piss. And yes it’s probably not the best thing to slam cases of the stuff (allthough I have before and didn’t die or become a blimp overnight) But the argument to NEVER TOUCH IT is the same false logic that we make fun of because a girl thinks she is going to look like Ronnie Coleman if she lifts weights for a week.

I love gingerale

When I was younger, I was only able to drink gingerale when I was sick, so I faked a lot of tummy aches.

I only drink the finest breast milks.

I foresee this thread degrading down to a “POP vs SODA” debate.

lol
Pop is what Yankees say, Soda is what they mix the syrup with. It’s called Coke or Pepsi depending where you live.

Tea FTW.

Plus Coke doesn’t even live up to the reason it was named Coke anymore, what a bunch of sissies.
True, containing coke and red wine it must have been the ultimate party drink.
The myth of Coke having cocaine is a myth. It however did have coca (which cocaine comes from) that is why it was properly named COCA-cola. I don’t remember hearing it having red wine.

cause im an idiot. I have to kick that habit.

also… DR PIBB is the original doctor… fuck you!

I fucking love diet pop, I don’t care if it will give me cancer at least I won’t be obese. Coke Zero and Diet Dr. Pepper FTW. Along the same vein all spike shotgun flavors are delicious, I wish they would bring back lemon.

Why does it seem all fat women drink diet pop? I always hear “I would rather eat my calories than drink them,” as if they give a shit how many calories they take in.

i think you are mistaken. Pibb never received his doctorate.

Seems this would be correct as it is a federal program, so the rules would apply to all states.
