My worst job is also my favorite and current job, but it has moments that are terrible. I’m a farrier. I nail shoes on horses hooves, the good days are when the horse agrees with me that I’m gonna do that. The days when its the worst job I’ve ever had are when the horses disagrees with my game plan… They don’t happen as often now that I work much quicker than I did when I started, but there will always be rank horses beating on me as long as I do this. No contest to the iron mill though obviously!
Ever been stepped on? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been careless while picking their hooves only to have them step directly on my foot. Then they just stand there on it. Someday I’ll learn.
I have been stepped on while saddling a mule, but it was cause I answered my phone and she wanted my attention. Horses are super aware of there feet, they know when they step on you. Its very bad horse manners. I think if one stepped on me while I was working on him I might just leave that hoof unshod and see how he likes hurt feet haha
Oh right, cool.
On the subject of horses stepping on your foot, a friend used to have on that stood on your foot if you stopped cuddling him and wouldn’t get off. The annoying thing was that he wasn’t a small horse. He was the the largest animal I’ve ever seen, if you don’t count elephants.
Not that he was nasty or anything, he was one of those enormous white geldings with a very calm nature.

Oh! Sorry, I didn’t mean any offence.
See, people with my condition sometimes say that ‘numbers were their friends’ as children. I felt the same way about hammers…
No, I’m not offended!
Hmmm, that sounds a bit dangerous.
Sturg, communicating with a dude who plays with hammers is ill advised.

Ahem.
Do you fucking mind?
I do not ‘play’ with hammers. I am a craftsman, an artist. I am the fucking Michelangelo of hammers as far as you’re concerned.
For instance, I am currently constructing a 40ft shed for a client, complete with bargeboards, gables and roof-ends, among other features. Stick a gargoyle on and you could call the bastard a cathedral.
You know nothing of my art

Titan’s a troll, you wouldn’t know that though because you’re new to the forum but he just goes around stirring up trouble. He seems to target certain people more than others.
Cool.
He bites his fur. We’ve been to the vet, and we’ve tried everything from medicated shampoo and flea-killer to skullcap and valerian tablets.
I think it may just be anxiety. See, he’s relatively new- we’ve had him for a month and a half and he used to be with a family who sort of mistreated him. He was originally an old lady’s dog, but she died and the family was going to have him put down. My sister and I stepped in. He’s bulking up nicely with regular walks and good food, but we can’t seem to do anything about the fur biting. the only thing that seems to work, funnily enough, is apples. He just loves chewing on them.
He’s a little dude though.
He’s no longer with us, unfortunately
when my friend’s mother downsized her herd she sold most of the horses. I think he was probably sold to the stud farm, as he used to get put out to stud a lot. He had racehorse blood, apparently, although we suspect a heavy horse was involved as well.
Hey, what’s creepy about getting on well with people?
Edit: Oh, I see. Well if it is going that way then this is the first time a beautiful(no lie, I saw the pic) woman has spoken to me in weeks. Can you guys possibly see your way to not fucking it up for me? Thanks muchly.

Sturg is smokin’ hot. She had more pics in her hub but looks to have deleted them all. I’ve been working on getting a bikini shot but she’s not cooperating. Maddox on the other hand was happy to share a picture of himself sportin a bikini.
