Far from it. I am not outwardly dissing Carlito’s Way I just don’t think it was the ‘next’ Scareface that everyone thought it was. It was a good movie just not a Scarface pt2 IMO.
Kill Bill does it for me, the Anime/Samurai/Western/catfight/revenge flick had me from the first scene.

It’s just an amalgamation of different genres, made from recycled parts. Tarantino’s a good craftsman, but he’s far from a genius.
