Actually I was going to say, being trapped and knowing you are going to die…see it coming for you and can’t avoid it.
But…I think what others said (below) would be worse…to see loved ones be tortured/murdereded and can’t do a thing to help and forced to watch…

A few years ago my grandmother (who like me has always lived in KY, and i believe she said this happened somewhere in KY) was telling me how there was a case in which a man had just picked up his two daughters (i believe both were at least under the age of 16) and had just brought them home from school. Well two men walked in to their house and tied all of them up in the kitchen. I had this little spell when i was younger, i had this reoccuring nightmare that i was in this public place and i was moving in super slow motion and everyone around me was moving really fast and looking at me like i was a freak of nature or something…
I find satisfaction in striving ahead head first into the unknown haha. I dont mindlessly do stupid things sure to end in injury like a fucking jackass (yes that pun was intended lol) but more philosophically into to possibly dangerous situations. I hate spiders.

I really don’t fear sharks as a diver, but the water was really bad, baybe 20-40 feet visibility…would really get your attention to have one of those appear ‘out of nowhere’
On the open water its also a helplessness factor; An awareness that you are mal-adapted for the habitat you are in and any predator could make quick work of you.
Open water. I won’t swim anywhere where I can’t see the bottom or at least touch. I did go fishing in a float tub even then I was shitting my pants a bit.

Lately I fear driving. People are so stupid when it comes to driving. I always see people cutting others off, running stop signs and red lights, pulling out in front of traffic, talk on the phone or texting, even eating while driving. I’ve almost been hit by so many dumbasses on the road. I just get super paranoid, even fearful of driving when the roads are slick or traffic is heavy. And it sucks because I do love driving. I just need to find some good country roads or something.
And to the guy with the phobia of giant worms, don’t feel bad. Worms freak me out so bad. I can’t stand those things. Slugs and leeches too. Those things are so disgusting.
Ever since I watched the movie Creepshow I’ve been scared as shit of cockroaches. Those that have seen this movie will know why.
I’ve always thought vines were really creepy plants, just the way they seem to wrap around everything and strangle it. And watching The Ruins just furthered my fear of them.
