actually, yes, its the countess. but let me just say this. she was no more a vampire than anyone else. just about everything written about her is complete garbage. most of these myths came about long after she died. made up by people. she didn’t bath in blood. she didnt kill 600 girls. but thats a long long story. yes, i realize many people fancy her.
when i was younger, i was into bruce lee like nobody else. read everything about im, countless books. pics all over my walls. yet, i could never write a book about him. nor could i tell you how he felt about things, as a child. growing up. he was my idol for years and years to.
Wait - so she never bathed in blood to preserve her youth?
Dude, you’re just really into the book. Don’t make this more than it is. There’s no such thing as a “true love”. Who you marry and fall in love with is just a coincidence of hormones, location, circumstance, etc.
To answer your thread title question: It doesn’t matter, she’s gone and dead. You only love the idea of a woman like her.

getting laid, lol. dude, look at me. not trying to be a dick, but comeone, im a 280 hulk. i could go into any club or bar in this country and have any woman i choose. how many men look like me. yes, i realize that sounds conceited. this isn’t about getting laid. ive been laid many a time. i was married. have a daughter. but this is quite different.
Crazy? No, not necessarily. You’re supposed to be open-minded, especially to things that don’t make sense. So, if that’s what you legitimately believe to be true, then I believe you. When a person critiques life down to specific events they’ll find a lot more meaning and purpose then just a bunch of random bullshit. Sharing a soul I can understand. Since day one I’ve had particular thoughts of the girl dying because I legitimately fear it. A lot of the same particular things occur to both of us on days where we haven’t even spoken. She talked about our souls before I could even bring it up. So if it doesn’t make sense, isn’t that why you should think more about it and not just reject the idea?

no, about 100 years after she died, this priest wrote about women who do bad things. he mentioned her name, and wondered how any woman could have done what she did. he reasoned it had to be “vanity”. then the myth of a servant girl bleeding on her, and her discovering that it made her youthful. those that like to beleive in that, cool, but it simply never happened.
how do i know it never happened. well, her castle was raided in 1610. a mock trial was held, thousands of pages of testimony. funny thing about the whole thing is, the only people that were actually caught in the act and also admitted to killing the girls where her 4 servants. the countess was never allowed to testify on her own behalf. hmmm, wonder why. she said over and over, political conspiracy. which it was.
Wait - so she never bathed in blood to preserve her youth?

I went along time not writing anything, just experiencing these weird ass dreams. all the time. true love, soul mate, are all mans words. Im not saying i have all the answers, but it goes far beyond hormones and circumstance. everything happens for a reason. sometimes things don’t always happen the way its supposed to.

Oh, missed that. When you said you were into page 71 of your book about her, I thought it was a book you were reading. Sorry.
This is making even more sense believe it or not. You’re falling in love with your character. Authors, like other artists, need to be able to think creatively. The right brain is very useful, just don’t let it run off with the rest of your mind. Harness it…

its an extremely weird feeling. the feeling you get when you feel someone with you. time is a strange thing. though hundreds of years can separate people. time is but years past. sometime a person can leave a mark on you. or your souls for some reason are bonded. or you were meant to be with this person, but for some reason, it didn’t happen. all i know is, its far beyond, just having a crush. its not even sexual, as strange as that sounds. if it was about me wanting to bang her, i might be able to except the crush part. but honestly, its so much more than sexual.

all these man made phrases. soul mate. true love. however you call it. for many years i had always believed that to be something that only existed in the movies. Then a few years ago, i started having these dreams of this one particular woman. Now, i’m not a writer of any degree. have never written any type of story. This woman existed and died 400 years ago. to say I feel a connection and bond with her is drastically understating it.
Even during the day, i would have these thoughts of this woman, she was constantly on my mind. now obviously, i have never met her. yet, I know how she thinks, how she talks, what she went through in her life. Its truly weird. Now this woman is father infamous to say the least. i am now on page 71 of my book about her. a good portion of the book is through her eyes.
Now someone who writes for a living might be able to pull this off, just by making stuff up. but its different with me, I feel her inside me. (no jokes, lol) Its like i feel her around me alot of the times.
I have now come to beleive I was meant to be with this woman, our souls or whatever you call it are bonded, connected somehow. i have such intense feelings and love for a woman i have never met. in this lifetime anyways.
I think in a prior life you WERE this woman. /thread

shes not my character. i felt this way before i ever started to write. whats funny is, how i have her speaking in the book, then reading some of the letters she wrote, its amazing how similar it is. someone earlier mentioned about time travel, well thats a big part of my book. complicated story is an understatement.

Just food for thought.
honestly, im not sure what to beleive. im open to anything. my feeling i have is more that i was supposed to be with her rather than i knew her once in a previous life but who knows.
