While I do find it funny and ironic that this site has relegated steroids to the off-topic section (and the last bastion falls), overall I like the changes.
Given how much steroids are demonized, I fully understand why they would put it in with the other threads that we have to be logged in to see. At least they still allow and offer a place for those who want to discuss the topic to do so.

Let me see if I can help clear a few things up.
As I mentioned, we’re shifting the Forums around to better showcase our core-industry content. That is not:
a) Porn
b) Politics
c) Illegal substances
d) How many threads we can create about “being a thread killer”
Down-playing these “other” Forums and making them only accessible by logged-in, registered users helps us to better stay in the good graces of “The Google” as well as many other search engines, legitimate business and higher learning networks
More importantly it makes it more difficult for my wife to read up on my immaturity!

The pendulum has indeed swung.

Indeed. It is a shame, because some of the articles about it - Diary of a Steroid User (i believe that was the title) comes to mind - were some of the best articles the site ever featured and were what really set this one apart from all the other sites.
That is gone now. Like I said, a shame, and a lot of the newer guys don’t even know that the site was even once like that.

True. But that was once a main tenet of this site, as I recall. That attitude has totally disappeared.

I will say this is the worst part. Not horrible, but more a pain in the ass then a simple reorganization for sure. It would be nice to somehow drag and click, but I know IT like Somalia knows sirloins and not sure if possible but if so…
You can thank mobile device browser developers for this. The only real way around it is to change all hover actions to click, which will take some work in our case.
This has been taken care of. All mobile users should be able to navigate the entire site now. May require a refresh, but it should be very straight-forward otherwise.

Much easier to navigate from the iPad now! Better than before! Great improvement.

I agree, totally.
But it’s about making money, and if they make more money with this new vision that is what is gonna happen here.
And the only problem I have with the livespill is trying to understand what questions are being asked of the author…I just cannot handle scrolling up every time looking for “@BigGutLifter’s” question.

That is for sure an issue with going back through them- however I find it no more complicated than going back through twitter or through a forum where someone did not quote the original question for their reply.
