I was also upset about the spelling of “moot”.

I agree, I do feel bad for innocent victims, just not compartmentalizing sleazies.
I feel the same way, although I would like to know what happened to Charlie Horse. I have only been on these forums a very short time, but she seemed to be very sweet and level headed and not the type to do the kind of things the mods were talking about.
This is the type of thing I was referring to that the mods did not nor will not address. You stated that they alluded to what happened to the members that were cut off but clearly they have not.
You may be a long time lurker but given your join date I can only assume that you haven’t noted the posting history of a number of the people who have been cut off.
My opinion is that the sweeping ban was draconian.
Yes, it does appear somewhat draconian on the outside, but we don’t know what is going on behind the scenes.
Maybe they overreacted to whatever situation they are dealing with which most of us don’t know about? Could be, but I still want to give the benefit of the doubt as I don’t really know what they are reacting to.
I have somewhat of a clue about what the situation may be about as I’m in contact with most of the people that got boffed off. There are grey areas for certain but there are a number who posted predominantly in PW who really are stunned and angry.
As for Hallowed, I found her funny as shit and pretty upbeat. I loved reading her training log and seeing the changes she had made after she got her thyroid issue under control.
To FightnIrish, it may be about gun running but is more likely related to the long ago disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. Some things were never meant to be public.

I don’t blame them for being stunned or angry if what I know is anywhere near the truth. The bloviated cretin who started this got what they wanted in a way.
However, I still say give TN time to sort out any repercussions from this mess. Do they owe those that were booted explanations. Not really. It would be the polite thing to do, but I suspect TN is getting advice from people who are privy to all of the details.
Basically this.

Here, let me rephrase so it is a little less insulting to those who feel their opinions might be trivialized:
Buncha loiterers hangin’ around Barnes and Noble complaining about the new aisle and chair arrangements making their loitering and literary leechings more uncomfortable and expecting the Mr. Barnes and Mr. Noble to take their concerns into consideration as much as the book-buying customers who comment on the ways in which the new layout impacts their shopping experience.
Cool story, brahs.
Some of us loiterers find it cheaper to buy from Biotest Australia and New Zealand. Just saying.
Alright, this thread has run its course. Locking it down.
