If it really bothers you, please fly to this person’s state and verify his lifts. God knows it’s worth the money and time to find out if these anonymous people on the internet lift as much as they say they do. It just keeps me up at night wondering.

I almost deadlifted 455lbs once, stalled just above the knee - I can prove it to, I have a clip somewhere :slight_smile:

Josher, a 290 lb C&J is an exceptional lift. I know Olympic lifters that train for years without hitting that. Do you fall into a full squat after you clean it? Does it affect your knee problems? You must have a very strong front squat.

Here’s Mule deadlifting 600.

Squat: 455 raw with belt (although I am not sure how low because I don’t know if my spotter judged it well); 405 x 3 parallel raw with belt; 315 x 15 parallel raw with belt


Bench: 405 paused single ply poly (although the pause was kinda bouncy); 315 x 9 raw touch-and-go

JackAss, why’d you use a cambered bar for your reps with 225? Good lifts by the way.

No I do not fall into a full squat, after cleaning it. When I clean the weight I jump into the lift as you would performing a snatch. As such my legs are spread apart fairly wide. Once the bar is sitting up on my chest, I reposition my feet to a normal standing stance, and then proceed to jerk the weight up. As such there is no deep front squat involved that impairs me from doing this lift.

I have benched 165, have deadlifted 285, squatted 215, leg pressed 490, curled 65, shrugged at least 245, rack pulled 270. All for multiple reps in good form. I have no proof, but I have no reason to exagerate.

290lb is not exceptional, depend on your weight, natioanl level lifters in Israel in the 66 kilo division do that easily, so imagine what an 80K guy+ can do.

I can exteranly rotate a pink-purple dumbell.

…and yes I know I’m pretty weak for my size. I am cursed/blessed with long limbs, makes benching and squatting much harder and dead lifting much easier.

How far can you guys throw a 56lb weight for height or distance?
